Six Sentence Sunday ~ Dirty Little Slayer ~ 3 ( #sixsunday )

Six Sentences over six weeks from my recent release 'Dirty Little Slayer'

"This friend isn't a male, is he?"
The question piqued her. Double standards much? "And what if the friend is a male? Who are you to talk?" She poked him in the chest, made sure her words were clear, concise and curt.

Welcome special guest: author Shannon Leigh

Welcome Shannon!

Today we have author, Shannon Leigh, visiting. Shannon Leigh, erotic romance author, lives in Indiana with her husband, four boys, cat and dog. A lover of paranormal characters, her backlist includes vampires, werewolves, ghosts, demons, and a cowboy, barbarian, and alien thrown in for good measure. You never know what she’ll come up with next.

* So, Shannon, what inspired you to become a writer?
I always liked making up stories when I was little. The paranormal genre fascinated me the most. I loved witches and unicorns, magic and elves. In middle school, I got into reading sweet romances and ventured into writing some of my own (wish I’d kept those, dangit!). As I matured and my tastes expanded into some of the more sexy paranormal beings, I got a little more serious about my writing. For the first time, the idea of getting published seemed like the thing to do. I’ve been on a whirlwind ever since.
* When did you attempt your first story? What length was it? What's become of it?
My first publishable story was written around 2000/2001. It was a full-length, vampire romance. Though, to look at it now, I’d say it’d fall under a dark romance, as it entails some pretty deep subject matter. It was published in ebook and paperback in 2002 by a now defunct publisher. I’m currently revamping it, so to speak, with hopes of finding a new home for it later this year.
* How many stories did you complete before you sold your first?
I finished and sold my first book before working a lot on the next. I was on a mission. Like a horse with blinders, I had something to finish before I could let myself relax and venture into new characters.
* What are the best and worst pieces of writing advice you ever received?
The best I guess would be to keep researching and always check for the validity of your plot and setting. You can’t have beachfront property in the middle of Indiana (unless there’s been some sort of major continent shift in your book and the Hoosier state now lies on the East Coast.)
I can’t really say I’ve gotten bad advice. I think everything has some merit. You just have to determine if it applies to you.

* How do you celebrate/deal with acceptance/rejection letters?
Celebration may be going out to dinner with my hubby, and just sitting around with a big grin on my face. Since I’ve mostly stuck with one publisher, I don’t deal too much with rejection. However, I’ve had a few and they still hurt my feelings just like they did 10 years ago. I’m trying to psych myself up for submitting the book I’m re-working now. Since my current publisher doesn’t take reprints, I find myself having to figure out query letters and synopsis all over again.
* In regard to the book you’re promoting, which actor and actress do you envision playing the roles of your hero and heroine? If there’s a villain or other characters who are pertinent to the story, who would play those parts?
I think Dallas Howard (played Victoria in Eclipse) and Hugh Jackman (need I explain?) would make great fill-ins for my characters. I guess Christian Bale (Batman, American Psycho) would make a good bad guy and his unfortunate girlfriend might be Eliza Dushku (Buffy series, Dollhouse series).
* The book you’re promoting, is it a stand-alone story or part of a series? If it’s part of a series, please list the order the books need to be read in for maximum reading enjoyment.
It is part of a series. Lycan Lore is book one, Lycan Lore 2: Offspring is book two. My publisher, Amber Quill Press, puts out several anthologies (Amber Paxes) which all circle around a general idea. I had signed up for one of these Paxes, which the theme was werewolves. This was my first werewolf story and I really enjoyed it. I wanted to revisit the characters from the first installment, even though they aren’t necessarily the main characters in the second. It’s kind of a shared spotlight, so to speak. You could read either story alone, since the second refers to things that happened in the first, but I would suggest reading book one first, which gives some initial insight to my werewolves and what details make up their “lore”.
*** Now for some fun info… ***
* What’s your favorite color?
Well that depends on the day. Usually, it’s pink. But sometimes I like teal or purple, or even black.
* What’s your favorite ice cream flavor?
Mint chocolate chip. Yummy! Have you ever had a piece of grasshopper pie? It’s to die for. Geez, now I’m going to have to stop at the Homemade Icecream and Pie Kitchen on my way home.
* Would you/have you own(ed) a snake or some other exotic pet?
I have owned a snake, actually. For a very short while. A ball python. When my husband (at the time) brought home a live baby mouse to feed it, I realized I was not a snake person. The next person, when the mouse was still running around inside the snake tank, I rescued the mouse and took the snake back to the petshop.
I also owned an iguana. His name was Homer. He lived in my bathroom. Literally. He loved to lie on the shower curtain rod. He got about 4 foot long. I ended up taking him to a local pet shop because he got too big to deal with. He wasn’t pleasant either. He liked to whip you with his tail when you tried to pick him up. Hurt like hell.

*** About Shannon’s book … ***
My latest release was Chasing Booty, a science fiction erotica. It was also part of an Amber Quill Pax. The title actually has a double meaning. I wanted something catchy, yet clever. The main character is a bounty hunter after her latest “booty”, while her nemesis turned partner is actually after her “booty”, if you know what I mean.

BLURB:
When cops can’t catch the most-wanted criminals, they hire Gaelyn. She comes from a long line of bounty hunters, including her father, uncle, and grandfather. Extensive training in weaponry, hand-to-hand combat, and adverse conditions have seasoned her into a formidable opponent against any contracted hit, whether male, female, alien, or human. She has little fear of the unknown and thrives on adventure.
Only one other hunter matches her status—Reese, a Trøndite from the small planet of Sør-Trøndalag in the Capricornus Sector. And the man has a knack for stealing her contracts. Both cunning and gorgeous, the mix doesn’t seem quite fair. But attractiveness holds little power over money. Reese had beaten Gaelyn out of a half-year’s pay a scarce three months ago, and she will be damned if he outwits her again.
Thinking she’s duped Reese back onto Jupiter, Gaelyn isn’t too happy when she runs into him on Quaoar at the Blue Moon, an authentic hole-in-the-wall bar tucked at the end of a narrow alley in what would be considered the rough part of town; just the place to find her contracted hit. But Reese not only has the information she needs to find her mark, he also has a business proposal that’s too tempting to pass up. And a partnership with Reese just might prove rewarding in a way Gaelyn never expects...

BLURB:
Being the tag-along on a camping trip with Heather and Graham is not what Cassandra has in mind for her long weekend. When a tall, dark stranger with staggering green eyes shows up to lend a hand with her tent assembly from Hell, however, she has to rethink her predicament. Despite the mixture of excitement and apprehension he incites with his soul-startling stare, the possibility that she’s just found her brawny Tarzan in the depths of Redwood National Park suddenly doesn’t seem so absurd.
Cray feels an equally potent draw to the fiery redhead with the soft hazel eyes, attractive features, and tempting shape. Despite his resolve, she provokes a primordial calling he’s long sought to contain. He wants this female, he can’t deny, but he knows giving in to such unabashed urges can lead to disaster, and he refuses to sentence this woman to his own horrid fate.
But just as powerful as Cray’s attraction is his unexpected surge of protectiveness. There’s something about Cassandra’s male friend that needles his suspicion. Graham invokes Cray’s predatory sense of dominance, and that doesn’t bode well. If his instincts are correct, Cray knows Graham is more than he appears and Cassandra’s life is in danger...

EXCERPT:

Catching her foot on an exposed tree root, she tumbled forward, bursting through the other side of the bush in a clamorous rustle of leaves and snapping branches to land painfully on her hands and knees on the outskirts of a small clearing. Stunned by the fall, she leaned back on her haunches and wiped the remnants of dirt and twigs from her palms.
Her flashlight rolled away, coming to rest several feet beyond her reach. Despite a hard knock on the ground, it remained lit, though its beam was dull. And her knife had disappeared somewhere within a mound of leaves on her left.
When she finally glanced around her dim surroundings, she realized that she’d just happened onto the scene of something akin to a horror film. Cassandra opened her mouth to scream, but terror choked the sound from her throat. All her psychological profiling of lycanthropes fizzled away like water subjected to flame, for the shadowed creature before her—a strange mix of man and dog—couldn’t be anything human.
   Werewolves…
This couldn’t be happening. Bears and mountain lions were like house pets compared to the monstrosity before her. As though to add a little more excitement to the situation, her flashlight chose that moment to flicker and go out, leaving the moon as her only source of light.
The reddish brown pelt covering the creature’s back bristled, standing on end like the fur of a startled cat. Pausing over its feast of woman flesh, it turned toward her, a menacing growl rumbling deep within its thick, corded throat. And despite the night around them, its glowing red eyes pierced the darkness, fierce and bright, like the taillights of a braking car.
Cassandra gulped hard when the creature riveted its cold-blooded stare on her. It took a step toward her, kicking the latent flashlight back toward her. Its beam snapped on, strong and steady, fully illuminating the tiny clearing and its inhabitants with chilling clarity.
The beast clenched and unclenched its dagger like claws, readying for a second kill. Then its lower jaw dropped open, revealing a mouthful of razor sharp teeth, and issued an ominous snarl. Cassandra felt the blood drain from her face.
Heather suddenly let out a gurgling groan, sufficiently distracting the creature long enough for Cassandra to jump to her feet. Knowing she’d never be able to fight her way through the brush at her back and make it to the trail leading to the campsites before the thing ran her down, she quickly scanned the near-black foliage surrounding them.
She spied a partially hidden trail to her left. Taking advantage of the temporary diversion, she snatched her flashlight and shot across the clearing, disappearing down the path without so much as a backward glance. She could only pray the creature deemed her not worthy of a chase.
An infestation of overgrown branches stabbed the air, jutting across the pathway. With their drawn swords prepared to strike, it was as though the trees themselves sought to prevent her escape. Nature was not on her side.
They slashed at her face and legs as she raced through their formidable blockade. But she paid them little heed, preferring to be scratched and clawed at by some harmless branches than be gutted alive by the werewolf’s dagger nails and razor teeth.
The guilt of leaving Heather behind gnawed at her conscience, but there was nothing she could do for her. If she made it back to the campsite, she and Graham could use the truck to try and locate the park ranger, though the possibility seemed daunting. There were almost forty miles of vehicle-accessible roadways through the entire park, and she had no idea how many rangers patrolled at night.
An ear piercing, skin prickling howl followed by the crashing of limbs alerted her to the verity that the thing had given chase. From the way it barreled through the brush behind her—a raging juggernaut on a mission—Cassandra knew it was only a matter of moments before she’d be caught. Finally finding her voice, she drew in a large gulp of air and belted out a sharp scream.
The outcome was easy to guess. It would rip her to shreds, devour her tender innards, then leave the rest of her to rot. Of course, by the time the scavengers came behind to clean up the mess, there’d likely be little to nothing left.

Welcome special guest: author Deena Remiel

Today we have author, Deena Remiel, visiting. Welcome, Deena!
It was the mystique of Arizona’s history and landscape that called to Deena and catapulted her career as an author. When she’s not writing novels and poetry in the wee, small hours of the morning or in the deep, dark of night, Deena teaches language arts to middle school students. She currently lives in Gilbert with her husband and two children, but New Jersey will always tug at her heartstrings.

* So, Deena, what inspired you to become a writer?
I’ve always had words floating through my mind and had to put them to paper. First, I wrote songs and poetry, teenage angst being the inspiration at that time. Now, my inspiration comes from the landscape surrounding me. The mystery and superstition revolving around the Superstition Mountains lends itself to the kind of writing I love to do.
* When did you attempt your first story? What length was it? What's become of it?
My first attempt to write a story was 2 years ago. It is about 75,000 words. It has become the first novel in my
Brethren Series, TRINITY!
* How many stories did you complete before you sold your first?
TRINITY is my first story and I sold it last year.
* What genre(s) do you write in? What drew you to write in it/them? What’s your favorite genre of all to write in?
I love to write journal-type pieces, poetry, short stories for an online serial, and paranormal romance novels. I love the diversity of writing experiences because I can switch it up whenever I feel like it. My favorite to write would have to be… oh! I can’t decide!
* What are the best and worst pieces of writing advice you ever received?
Best advice: WRITE! Worst advice: stay in a box that traditional publishers have created.
* How do you celebrate/deal with acceptance/rejection letters?
When I got rejection letters from agents, I ran around the house like a lunatic screaming, “I got a rejection! I got a rejection!” I jumped up and down in front of my kids. Yes, they think I’m certifiable now. I celebrate by going out for dinner with my family and eating dessert first.
* In regard to the book you’re promoting, which actor and actress do you envision playing the roles of your hero and heroine? If there’s a villain or other characters who are pertinent to the story, who would play those parts?
I like Liv Tyler as Emma, I’ll leave Michael open to my fans to offer suggestions. Personally, I adore Adrian Paul *sighs*.
* The book you’re promoting, is it a stand-alone story or part of a series? If it’s part of a series, please list the order the books need to be read in for maximum reading enjoyment.
TRINITY is the first book in a series of six books. Each can stand alone or be read in order. So far, there is

Trinity, Relic, and Elixxir. Trinity is currently available. Relic is in edits. And Elixxir is my WIP.

*** Now for some fun info… ***
* Would you/have you own(ed) a snake or some other exotic pet?
I would love to own a boa constrictor or python. When I held them once, I was awed by their strength and the seductive way they move. I’ve used their movements as analogies in my writing.
* Which do you prefer: rain or sun & warm weather or cold weather?
I definitely prefer sun and warm weather. Rain depresses me and cold weather makes me feel closed in and pinched.
* Are you a morning person or night owl?
I’m both. I don’t mind waking early and sitting outside with some coffee and my books to read. Late at night, I love to write the dark and sexy scenes of my novels.

*** About Deena’s book … ***
Tagline: Angels really do exist on Earth. Evil better start running!
Blurb:
One way or another, terror will reign tonight.
School teacher and single mom, Emma Livingston, has been through hell—and back so she thinks. While dealing with the night terrors and active imagination of her five-year old daughter, Hannah, she attempts to lead a normal life. That is, until the demon from those nightmares pays her a visit, too, and threatens both of their lives. Desperate, she reaches out for help—and finds Michael waiting.
Michael D’Angelo is known to everyone in Prophet’s Point, Arizona, as their loving elementary school principal. But to The Brethren, he is the most powerful Protector. Immortal and angelic does not mean he’s without doubts or fears, as protecting Emma and Hannah from Evil tests his ability to fight his tortured past.
As the Trinity is formed, ancient secrets are revealed and faith is tested. When a prophecy is exposed, Hannah becomes the main target and Emma wonders if a normal life will ever be possible again. Hope is like an anchor, but can a mother, her daughter, and an angel overcome the evil determined to annihilate the world?

Got the cover! Coming Soon! @evernightpub 'Wild West Weekend' by @rmsotera & @crmoss

Look what I found in my email this morning! Our cover artist Dara England did a great job with the cover of our co-authored story. RM and I are pleased to be on board with Evernight Publishing. :)

Receiving the cover this morning was a boon. How? Well, over the course of the next several weeks I’ll be visiting several blogs and at each of them I’ll be discussing different aspects of Las Vegas (it’s not all about the strip ya know ;).) Why the blog tour? Because I’m excited about our release, ‘Wild West Weekend’ which is set just outside of Las Vegas, and also as a lead in to the EAA conference I’ll be attending here in town in September. (http://eroticauthorsassociation.com/EAA/conference/about-the-conference/) So this is a nice way to kick off my little tour.
The background scene in the cover and on the blog for our series – http://doubledranchtales.blogspot.com/ – is of the southern Nevada landscape. It was taken out at Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area. For more information about it, visit: http://www.blm.gov/nv/st/en/fo/lvfo/blm_programs/blm_special_areas/red_rock_nca.html  It really is a beautiful area and diverse in its views. Back in June I shared some pictures of the area…
http://crmoss.blogspot.com/2011/06/sunday-snapshots-red-rock-part-1.html
http://crmoss.blogspot.com/2011/06/sunday-snapshots-red-rock-part-2.html
http://crmoss.blogspot.com/2011/06/sunday-snapshots-red-rock-part-3.html
There’s lots of hiking trails out there, mountain bike riding, horseback riding, or you can just drive the one-way loop, stop at the different vantage points and view the world around you. The LVAS (http://www.lvastronomy.com/) holds events up there, allowing the public to view the night sky through their telescopes. Athletes use the loop for training runs and biking and then compete up there in races. And, if you’re into wildlife, you’ll get to see wild burros, sometimes wild horses and, if you look close enough,
Desert Big Horn Sheep. Let’s not forget the bobcats and coyotes, rabbits and chipmunks, and all the creepy crawly things, too. ;)

     Here’s a peek into ‘Wild West Weekend’…
Blurb

Two people scared to love again. Two others hesitant about commitment. A weekend in Nevada will change all that.
Bristol Ashcombe is swearing off men and taking a vacation with her friend, Cassie. Damon Dougan is packed and ready to leave the ranch for a trip, that is, until a long-legged, sexy woman steps out of a vehicle and he decides to stay. Will one sex filled weekend be enough for either of them?
Cassie Harding travels to the Double D ranch, to meet Bristol and looks forward to seeing her old friend, Dakota. Dak’s excited when Cassie, his former sweetheart, returns. Cassie and Dakota, though they’re heating up ‘the sheets’ in and out of the bedroom, have fears about commitment after years of being single. Will they find it’s better to dance together than apart?

Excerpt ~
Before she could take her next breath, he swept her into his arms, held her tight. “It’s been too long. We have a lot of catching up to do.”
The top of her head rested against his collar bone. She felt his strength, loved his deep, voice. His scent of rich spices and woods after a rain with hints of leather and suede enveloped her. A comfort she hadn’t felt in ages settled in her soul. She sighed, then purred. “Yes, Dak, we do, don’t we?”
His heart beat fast and strong beneath her ear. Lustful desire pulsed within her. Every pore in her body soaked in his vibrant male essence. The sensations she had experienced in her youth repeated. Need and want, stronger than the urge to buy a really expensive pair of heels, coiled within her, demanded she turn her head and plant her lips on his. Her nipples budded, strained against her bra under her white blouse. Her jeans had become uncomfortably tight.
She tilted her head back, grasped the back of his and planted her lips on his mouth. Cassie kissed him with a surprising hunger, as if she had never kissed him or another man before. What shocked her on top of her own response was his. He returned her passion with his own, claiming her mouth with his tongue, silently demanding more from her with his ravishment.

Six Sentence Sunday ~ Dirty Little Slayer ~ 1

Six Sentences over six weeks from my recent release 'Dirty Little Slayer'

So dashing and handsome. Deep down there was an odd kindness about him, and it pained her that she'd eventually have to do something about him. But there was time enough to think of what she'd need to do later. She stifled back a sigh, no longer wanting to chastise herself for the way she felt about the quintessential bad boy with the dark features accented by his white skin. For now, she wanted to enjoy her time with him, revel in his touches and attentions, allow herself to feel any emotions that occurred without analyzing how they might be wrong. She settled against him, surrendering to the experience, delighting in his presence.

Welcome special guest: author Minnette Meador

Welcome Minnette!
Minnette writes historical romance, paranormal, urban fantasy, epic fantasy, and even children's books, as M. A. Smith. Her bio: Somewhere between thirty and dust...red hair, blue eyes...six kids, one slightly used husband, and any number of pets from time to time... wanttabe hippy... wanttheirmoney yuppie... pro musician and actress for 20 Years... native Oregonian... lover of music, beauty, and all things green. Willing slave to the venerable muse. Minnette currently resides in Portland, Oregon with her husband, having replaced the children with one dog. The dog, Pierre, pretty much runs the show.
Today she’s talking about her release: A Ghost of a Chance. It’s a paranormal romantic comedy available at Resplendence Publishing
Book Link or via Kindle

Blurb for A Ghost of a Chance
Keenan Swanson is your typical, everyday graphic designer. Well, except for the hundreds of pesky, prank-loving poltergeists that make his life interesting (in a Chinese curse sort of way). He finds his situation precarious yet manageable—until witty, smoking-hot coworker Isabella enters the scene and Keenan decides he wants her all for himself. With a horny succubus who has other ideas, a burly city cop determined to lock Keenan away, and an evil entity who’s hell-bent on using Keenan’s seed to create a living demon, the reluctant psychic realizes he just might not come out of this alive—or with heart intact.

Excerpt for
A Ghost of a Chance
Keenan headed down Thirty-second Street, turned left onto Hawthorn, and ran like an antelope with a lion biting his tail.
When he hit the crowd outside Taps at full speed, he came to a crashing halt and sailed to the ground, taking down two brawny beer drinkers, their respective girlfriends, and an innocent table that was sitting there minding its own business. Four obviously filled pints of stout flew through the air and the contents rained down on the struggling quintet in a dark brown shower, soaking all of them. Two of the empty pints hit Keenan squarely on the back of the head, one after the other.
The tangled pile of human beings and beer began to disentangle itself, but Keenan’s head was spinning wildly. So wildly, in fact, that he didn’t feel himself roughly yanked to his feet and then off of them, or see the swollen fist appear out of thin air until it was too late. All he heard was a distant son of a bitch and the sound of meaty flesh striking cheekbone.
The sparklers that gleamed in front of his eyes reminded him of the Fourth of July on the coast. He found himself down on the ground again.
“…you stupid prick!” The words soaked into his stupor and he squinted up to see six-foot-six of angry male mountain, a pleading red head attached to the man’s arm.
Not that it would have stopped another blow, but Keenan forced his hands into the submissive position and tried to find his voice. “Oh, man…” he said to the mountain. “I’m really sorry. Are you all right?”

Today we have author, Raine Delight, visiting. Raine’s bio: Raine Delight loves to be pampered by her harem of men that exist solely for her pleasure. Wait…..that was in a movie she saw. Hey, she can dream. :) Raine loves to fight with her muse, attack her manuscripts and find a way to silence the many voices in her head. Inspiration hits at odd times and for Raine, a blank word document page gives her many possibilities on story ideas.  Living with her two kids, a significant other who supports her every move in writing and doesn’t mind that she talks about her books like they are real people and doesn’t seem to mind she gets up at 2 am to type away on the computer. With a love for Johnny Depp, movies and 80’s hair bands, Raine finds a way to bring all her chaotic thoughts into a story that tells her readers about love and romance.

* When did you attempt your first story? What length was it? What's become of it?
A few years ago actually. I never seriously contemplated becoming an author so a friend dared me to write one after a particularly bad book I was reading annoyed me. It was awful and disjointed. It was a 50 page (give or take) and is sitting in a box, never to see the light of day.
* How many stories did you complete before you sold your first?
Actually after that first manuscript I wrote and shelved, I finished my introduction into Devon Falls series, Sticky Magic, in one week. It was sold three weeks later.
* What genre(s) do you write in? What drew you to write in it/them? What’s your favorite genre of all to write in?
I write paranormal and I branched into Sci-fi/futuristic and MM. I don’t have a particular favorite per say but I am looking forward to seeing where else my muse will take me.
* What is the best piece of writing advice you ever received?
Write what you want to read, write some more and enjoy yourself.
* How do you celebrate/deal with acceptance/rejection letters?
I get a little dejected but then I figure it wasn’t the correct place to be so I try elsewhere. I sometimes also console myself with chocolate since, as you know, chocolate makes everything much better. :)
* In regard to the book you’re promoting, which actor and actress do you envision playing the roles of your hero and heroine? If there’s a villain or other characters who are pertinent to the story, who would play those parts?
Oh man since my June release is a Menage (MMF), I am not sure who to pick. Maybe Tye Diggs as Tyrese and Johnny Depp as Capt. Rafe Gregory and for the character Kara, I think Natalie Portman. I haven’t really considered this so I may have to think on this more fully.
* The book you’re promoting, is it a stand-alone story or part of a series? If it’s part of a series, please list the order the books need to be read in for maximum reading enjoyment.
Currently it is a stand-alone story. I don’t really have any plans for another book but that may change if readers clamour for more and if the muse decides this character needs a story.
*** Now for some fun info… ***
* What’s your favorite color?
Purple and Blue.
* Are you a cat, dog or both kind of person?
I love cats. Self-sufficient and quite lovable…sometimes...maybe. LOL
* If you could live anywhere in the universe, where would it be and why?
Oh  man…..maybe some place where there isn’t any crazy weather or bugs. *laughs* I hate bugs. *shudders*
I never really thought on a place in the universe. It’s so vast…I could live anywhere. :) Maybe a space ship with unlimited supply of fuel and food so I could go exploring.

*** About Raine’s book … ***
Space Pirates: Bounty is my first Ménage-a MMF. I wrote my first MM scene and needless to say I am very, very nervous over it. It all came about after I read some science article on yahoo news about what would happen if Earth was hit by a gamma ray blast. That set the muse running and this story is the basis of it. It was my ode to my favorite movie/TV Show-Firefly and Pirates of the Caribbean. Capt. Rafe is my vision of Johnny Depp’s Capt. Jack and Nathan Fillon’s Captain Malcolm “Tightpants” (Firefly) characters. It is part of Shadowfire Press’s Frontiers of Space series and I hope the readers like it as much as I loved writing it.
Tagline: Can one woman find a way to save her friend while falling in love with the sexiest space pirates this side of the galaxy?
Kara Griffin is determined to save her friend, Reggie from the alien slavers but what she finds is a love with two of the hottest space pirates this side of the galaxy. Capt. Rafe Gregory and his first mate, Tyrese are shocked to find a woman stow away on their ship but soon find themselves falling for this feisty earthling. The chase is on...the question is who won't win but who will fall fast and hard when these three come together in passion and desire.
