~ Blurb ~

Ex-cop turned private investigator, Jack Vorst, is a cynic when it comes to love and a skeptic when it comes to anything paranormal. When his PI partner requests his help on a paranormal investigation to find an elf, Jack thinks it’s a joke. It isn’t, and he’s roped into working on the case. In his search for the mystical creature, he meets a beautiful woman named Kristina at a local 5k race who starts to change his mind about love, magic and the holidays. Can the spirited woman melt his icy heart and change his outlook on life in time for Christmas?
~ Excerpt ~
I looked over my shoulder. Vic’s long-legged, blonde-haired wife leaned against the doorjamb, a smile lingering on her face. Vic was one lucky SOB catching that hot California babe. Raising an eyebrow, I slung my arm on top of the chair’s back. “Is that so?”
“We’re all of the same mind that with your dark good looks and slamming tall-drink-of-water runner’s body you should be able to find someone.”
“I find women all the time.” I glanced at Vic and winked. “Another perk of being a bachelor.”
Malory tsked. “You’re incorrigible. What about that woman you were dating? What happened to her?”
“It didn’t work out.” The statement was curt, almost harsh sounding, but it was a topic of conversation I didn’t want to cover. Not working out was an understatement. The woman had been so clingy and desperate for love it drove me crazy and made me more surly than normal. Unfortunately, my blunt I-don’t-want-to-talk-about-it tone was lost on her.
“What about anyone in your apartment complex or at the gym? I’m sure when you’re running on that treadmill for hours at a time training for your races you see a lot of ladies come through.”
A shrug was all I answered with. My sex life shouldn’t be a concern of hers or anyone else’s. After thirty plus years of living, over a decade of those years with Metro, I understood I had a problem with commitment. Maybe if the right woman came along though.
She’d have to be the right gal for me, the perfect feminine complement to my masculine. Someone who could bring light to the dark corners of my mind, chase away the scattered nightmarish memories and dreams I had on a regular basis. A tall order no doubt.
If she looked like the woman I saw the other day, at the gym in fact, that’d be a great bonus. Calling her a Goddess didn’t do the beauty justice. Some might call her amazonish, but not me. Tall, toned, curvaceous women, and red-headed to boot, turned me on. A woman at the gym’s front desk had called the auburn-haired, athletic wonder Kristina. Pretty name. That chick was someone I wouldn’t mind seeing again and getting to know. Hell, my cock tightened at the mere thought of delving it into her hot core, feeling her legs wrap around me, diving my hands into her thick mane. I decided the next time I saw her I’d ask her out. What could it hurt? It would get Lory off my back which would be great. Hopefully, Kristina wasn’t one of those tourists taking advantage of the free week specials the gym constantly had advertised.
“Okay.” Lory tutted again. “Play Mr. Mysterious. Be the strong, silent type. But you’re a nice guy even if you come off gruff and rough around the edges. I’ve seen it when you’ve paid attention to little Allie at our house. She’s a good judge of character, and she adores you. Plus, I’ll have you know, if you don’t find somebody soon, then I’ll have to start playing matchmaker. I’ll find the woman who will melt that icy heart of yours.”
My gaze swung around to Vic. “She wouldn’t.”
“She would.” With a shrug, Vic pushed the case folder named Elf toward me. “Here’s the intel so far. Take it. Read it over. If you have any questions, defer to Yente.” He jutted his chin in his wife’s direction.
“Ha, ha.” She shook her head but kept a grin on her face. Her golden brown-eyed gaze caught mine. “Jack, I’m glad you’re going to help me out. In a week or so, my load and Trish’s will be lightened. We’ll be able to help you out if you haven’t solved the case by then.”
A week, I thought. I could postpone starting on the case for a few days, and then by the time she was ready for it, I could just hand it back without having to subject myself to any weirdness. I picked up the folder, tipped it to my forehead then toward her. “No problem.”

Stockings & Suspenders will be available at www.evernightpublishing.com on December 9th!

In Between Days Blog Tour ~ It’s my turn here in Vegas (#Dpinbetweendays @crmoss @beerwencha2 )

One of the main reasons we moved from the Northeast to the southwest was because of the weather. The snow and rain and humidity got the better of us back east, and we couldn’t stand it anymore. People who know DH and I have often wondered and asked us about this considering we were born and raised in the north. Shouldn’t we have been acclimated to it all? Well, yes, once upon a time we had been, but right after we were married, we moved to Texas for a few years. It was there we realized we liked the warm weather and lack of snow, but circumstances had us returning to the northeast. After several more years back where we grew up, we knew we had to get out. Another big reason for our move, which was tied into the weather aspect of our decision, was that, at that time, my husband was into
duathlons and triathlons. He was serious about his training and his goal was to make it to Kona, HI for the Ironman tri (Swim 2.4 miles, Bike 112 miles, Run 26.2 miles -- http://ironmanworldchampionship.com/). So one hot, muggy, awful August day, I asked him if we should move to a location that had better weather. He said yes, and less than a year later, we were in Las Vegas…enjoying the sun, the blue sky, the dry climate. Training was better for him since he didn’t have to contend with rain, snow, humidity…
I was part of his support team, going to races as a spectator and volunteer, helping out on training runs and rides, acted as moral support in our home. Many mornings we were up at the crack of dawn…sometimes out the door by 4 AM to get to a race by 5 AM (yep, ‘two fives in a day’ and one is much too early for this ol’ girl. LOL!) One time here in town for the marathon, I spent close to four hours standing by myself near the finish line, guarding a bag of gear and goodies. It’s a good thing I have an imagination and know how to entertain myself!
So, how did hubby and I decide on Las Vegas as a place to live? We traveled here for a number of vacations, then w
hen we finally made the decision to relocate, we came out over a Thanksgiving weekend to look at homes. Talk about turkey overload. Hubby and I went to two different buffets that day! The first one was around lunch time. We ate at the Carnival World Buffet over at the Rio. Lots of food, great seafood and of course we had our share of the Tom bird. Later that day, actually into the evening when we realized we were hungry again (yes, hours later…lol!) we went to the buffet in the hotel we were staying in and had a second Turkey day meal. I’m amazed we didn’t pass out at the table or have to be rolled out of the dining area! Did you know that there are races here in town called Turkey Trot and Catch the Gobbler? They’re races between 5K and 10K and the events also offer 1 mile walks. We also came out one year for the marathon. This used to be when it was held at the end of January, beginning of February. The marathon is now held in the beginning of December. I’ve even written a couple of stories incorporating Las Vegas and the races.
I like using Las Vegas as a location in my stories. My first Decadent Publishing release, Sunset Desires (release date TBD)

though not set completely in Las Vegas, has a character from the area, and the next two books I’m planning with a couple of the characters from the first book will be set in and around the city. I’m excited about being with Decadent Publishing and being a part of their 1NS line of stories. Keep tuned here on my blog for updates regarding the publication date!

Six Sentence Sunday ~ Wild West Weekend ~ 5.2 ( @crmoss #sixsunday @6_Sunday )

#5 of Six Sentences over six weeks from 'Wild West Weekend'

Whereas Dak, with his lighter, gold-streaked hair and commanding blue eyes, was her peer, a man of understanding and compassion. She loved his toned leanness from years of hard work, the way the lines crinkled around his eyes when he smiled. There was a straightforward way about him that set her soul and demeanor at ease. Dakota was a man prone to great kindness.
It would be so easy to settle down and claim the ranch as her home. If he were to ask her to stay, she wouldn’t hesitate to say yes this time.

Welcome special guest: author Rebecca Royce @rebeccaroyce

Today we have author, Rebecca Royce, visiting. As a teenager, Rebecca would hide in her room to read her favorite romance novels when she was supposed to be doing her homework. She hopes, these days, that her parents think it was well worth it.
Rebecca is the mother of three adorable boys and is fortunate to be married to her best friend. They live in northern New Jersey and try not to freeze too badly during the winter months.
She's in love with science fiction, fantasy, and the paranormal and tries to use all of these elements in her writing. She's been told she's a little bloodthirsty so she hopes that when you read her work you'll enjoy the action packed ride that always ends in romance. Rebecca loves to write series because she loves to see characters develop over time and it always makes her happy to see her favorite characters make guest appearances in other books.
In Rebecca Royce's world anything is possible, anything can happen, and you should suspect that it will.

* So,
Rebecca, what inspired you to become a writer?
I have always wanted to be a writer. When I was in fourth grade, I wrote my first book.  In my head, I’m always living out another world than the one I’m participating in.  I think I was destined to do this.
* When did you attempt your first story? What length was it? What's become of it?
In the fourth grade. But after that, in a more serious manner? When I was pregnant with my second son.  I think the pregnancy hormones finally pushed me to do what I’d always dreamed of doing. Up until the problem was that anytime I sat down to write in an educational setting, my type of writing was knocked down by my professors.  I guess they were not fans of the romance novel.
Finally, on my own, I took a shot.

* How many stories did you complete before you sold your first?
One.
* What genre(s) do you write in? What drew you to write in it/them? What’s your favorite genre of all to write in?
I mostly write in Paranormal Romance. But, I also write in Fantasy Romance, Science Fiction Romance, and Young Adult Urban Fantasy.
I love them all. I’m so glad I haven’t had to choose yet!

* What are the best and worst pieces of writing advice you ever received?
The best piece of advice I got about writing was to make sure I treated it like a job and that I did it every day. That has helped me so much! The worst advice?  Well, I think a critique partner who doesn’t have your best interest can do a lot of damage so be sure to make good decisions when selecting one.
* How do you celebrate/deal with acceptance/rejection letters?
At this point? I don’t really celebrate or deal. I just keep moving forward. In the beginning? I cried over rejections and had a party when I sold books! But now, I’ve come to understand it’s just part of the process and I treat it as such.
* In regard to the book you’re promoting, which actor and actress do you envision playing the roles of your hero and heroine? If there’s a villain or other characters who are pertinent to the story, who would play those parts?
Yes! I love this question! Charma was always Kate Beckensale in my mind.  (I really think the cover artist Reece Dante really got her right!) Jason Randall is Justin Timberlake. And Sebastian, the demon, is Christian Bale.

* The book you’re promoting, is it a stand-alone story or part of a series? If it’s part of a series, please list the order the books need to be read in for maximum reading enjoyment.
It’s the second book in a nine book series.
   Love Beyond Time
   Love Beyond Sanity
   Love Beyond Loyalty (coming soon)
   With five more to come

*** Now for some fun info… ***
* What’s your favorite color?
Purple
* What’s your favorite ice cream flavor?
Vanilla. Boring but true.
* Are you a cat, dog or both kind of person?
Both. I was raised with cats and have always loved them.  But, we have two dogs now and I LOVE them.

*** About the book… ***

What do you do when your destiny is not at all what you believed it to be?  Charma and Jason are hunted by two demons as they lead the group of Outsiders back into the light. They must decide if prophecy is enough reason to stay together through insane odds or if love is their fate.
Eighteen years earlier, Charma lost her destined soul mate. Convinced he must be dead, she kept her fears to herself so as not to destroy the morale of the Outsiders who already live with a shaky prophecy as their only guide.
Dr. Jason Randall is a man used to getting what he wants. There has never been a problem he couldn't out think or a situation he wasn't capable of handling.
Now they are both hunted by not one but two demons as they lead the slowly forming group of Outsiders out of the darkness and back into the light. The two strong souls will have to decide if prophecy alone is enough reason to stay together through insane odds...or if love is their true fate.

~ Excerpt ~
"Oh, Dr. Randall, you are so limited. The Fates, Destiny, the Gods chose you, however it is that you are comfortable describing it. Veli Destrand, before he died, used to call it 'the good side'. He was pretty accurate in that." She laughed. "Such a shame he's dead and you won't get to meet him until I send you to death. But in the mean time you're so exciting to play with."
He didn't see it coming. The electrical current struck his body with what he could only imagine was the force of an eighteen-wheeler. His entire being shook from the experience. His insides burned as if he were a mere piece of toast. Without surprise, he fell to the hard ground.
Breathe. It was nearly impossible to perform that basic function. Eventually, it would pass. He knew this because he'd been going through this experience at least once a day since he'd been stuck in his own mind's creation, but each time she electrocuted him, it seemed to get worse.

Six Sentence Sunday ~ Wild West Weekend ~ 4.2 ( @crmoss #sixsunday @6_Sunday )

#4 of Six Sentences over six weeks from 'Wild West Weekend'

Her most recent ex was dark-haired, dark-eyed. His beefy body had been created by years of construction work, his skin permanently tanned due to the same. That guy had an intensity about him when he drank, was known to blow a lid at the slightest provocation. Obsessive and possessive, he didn’t like her going to the types of parties she did. Their relationship had only lasted a couple of months.
Same as most of her relationships come to think of it, she mused.

Welcome special guest: author London Saint James @LSJRomance

Today we have author, London Saint James, visiting. London writes erotic romance, from sweet to downright naughty.  She is an author for Evernight Publishing and a member of the Romance Writers of America as well as a member of Passionate Ink.

* So, London, what inspired you to become a writer?
I have scribbled stories my whole life. It has always just been something I have done.  I’m not real sure I was inspired to be a writer; maybe it is best so say I was always using my imagination so writing was sort of natural.
* When did you attempt your first story? What length was it? What's become of it?
At a very young age I wrote little stories or playacted my stories out.  But I wrote my first short story in second grade.  I’m not real sure what became of it.  I know my elementary school teacher at the time wasn’t too happy about my imagination.  I was to write some boring book report, and I wrote my own story instead *Smiles.*
* How many stories did you complete before you sold your first?
A couple of years ago I became what you call “serious” about writing.  Instead of scribbling them down and throwing them into a box of papers, I dusted off my laptop and wrote.  I had several stories already written, which I was just holding on to, not real sure if I wanted to take the plunge and submit, but I decided to try.  I figured “What’s the worst that can happen? They say I suck and tell me no.” I beat the butterflies down which were fluttering around in my stomach and submitted a short story to Evernight Publishing.  In May that story, MISTAKE, was part of their BDSM anthology called Master of Mine.
* What genre(s) do you write in? What drew you to write in it/them? What’s your favorite genre of all to write in?
Well, I have tinkered with BDSM, but mostly I write in the contemporary romance or erotic romance genre.  I guess I write in those genres because I love a great love story, to be turned on when I read erotica, and I suppose I write what I love, what I’m interested in reading.  My favorite would be the more erotic side of romance.
* What are the best and worst pieces of writing advice you ever received?
The worst would be people who said, “You will never get published.  There are too many writers; it’s a waste of your time.” The best, “Write what you love and never give up.”
* How do you celebrate/deal with acceptance/rejection letters?
I celebrate an acceptance with chocolate.  I love the stuff.  I suppose I’ve been lucky. I had one rejection letter, but they asked me to submit again at a different time, stating what I submitted didn’t fit into their current anthology.  I suppose I look at rejections as something that will happen, but it isn’t a deterrent.
* In regard to the book you’re promoting, which actor and actress do you envision playing the roles of your hero and heroine? If there’s a villain or other characters who are pertinent to the story, who would play those parts?
Hmm… well, let me think about that for just a bit. Okay, I think it would be totally cool to see Scarlett Johansson as the heroine Winter (I think she is a beautiful woman) and if we are shooting for the stars, Robert Pattinson holds that chiseled look for the hero.
* The book you’re promoting, is it a stand-alone story or part of a series? If it’s part of a series, please list the order the books need to be read in for maximum reading enjoyment.
The Heart Of Winter is a series so the characters within the story evolve, change over time…however, without giving too much away about the other books to be released, the appeal would be true love, soul mates, and is it truly possible to be “connected” to someone.  Wrapped in with that would be the appeal of opposites.  And I guess exploring Winter’s insecurities, and let’s face it, who doesn’t have insecurities.  I wanted to push the boundaries of that wall we sometimes build around our heart.  I wanted to discover what it is like, when all you have to go on is bad experiences, to trust, love, really open your heart to someone.
Enchanted is book 1 in The Heart Of Winter series.
Requiem is book 2
Revelation is book 3
Eternal is book 4 and the final in The Heart Of Winter series.

*** Now for some fun info… ***
* What’s your favorite color?
Blue
* Are you a cat, dog or both kind of person?
Both, love animals.
* Are you a morning person or night owl?
Night owl for sure.

*** About London’s book and series… ***
Enchanted is book one in The Heart of Winter series which is a contemporary romance and was released in August by Evernight Publishing.  This book is the start to the story of Winter Shae Perri and her journey through life and love.

Blurb:
Can love withstand the test of time?
Winter never truly understood love, nor did she have time for men until she met Austin Wells Carlyle.  He was the man who would rock her world to its foundations.  He would test her notions, give her something to believe in, and change her misguided thoughts regarding happily ever after. Strangely, she was going to allow him be the one thing she never believed in—her soul mate.

Six Sentence Sunday ~ Wild West Weekend ~ 3.2 ( @crmoss #sixsunday @6_Sunday )

#3 of Six Sentences over six weeks from 'Wild West Weekend'

Sure enough, Dak was there, casually leaning against a porch post but still exuding profound confidence. She followed him to his truck, admiring the sway of his ass in his tight jeans, his powerful physique.
Cassie couldn’t help but stare at the clear cut lines of his profile as he drove them to the far reaches of the property and recounted the history and geology of the area. His bearing conveyed strength, deep seated self-possession. The set of his lips and chin, the focus of his gaze, informed her he probably had a stubborn side to his nature. Not caring about how the red rocks were formed, she listened with half an ear, reveling in how he and her last boyfriend were different.

Welcome special guest: author Crymsyn Hart @crymsynhart

Today we have author, Crymsyn Hart, visiting. Crymsyn is the author of a slew of paranormal, romance, erotica books. Her favorite saying is "If it has fangs, it's my friend." Her experiences as a psychic have given her a lot of material to use. She currently resides in Charlotte, NC with her hubby and her two dogs.

* So, Crymsyn, what inspired you to become a writer?
I was inspired to write when I was a kid and a teenager. The first thing I can remember was reading a favorite book of mine and hating the ending so I took it upon myself to rewrite the whole thing. I liked it so much I wrote the sequel to it also.
* When did you attempt your first story? What length was it? What's become of it?
My first story was a 90K book that I wrote in college based on some friends of mine. I had to turn 60 pages for my senior project and handed my professor a full length novel. After college, I went through and rearranged the book. It went on to be published with a now out of business e-publisher, but was resurrected with Phaze. The book is called Immortal Desires.
* How many stories did you complete before you sold your first?
I had four books done before I sold my first novel.
* What genre(s) do you write in? What drew you to write in it/them? What’s your favorite genre of all to write in?
I write in the paranormal, romance, erotica, fantasy, dark fantasy, and horror genres. I have always been drawn to horror and classified my first novel as that. But it got lumped into the erotica genre. Since then it has kind of grown into other areas. I love to write paranormal anything. I can’t seem to write straight contemporary.
* What are the best and worst pieces of writing advice you ever received?
The best piece of advice I received was to keep writing. The worst was to hang up my keyboard.
* How do you celebrate/deal with acceptance/rejection letters?
If I get a rejection letter, I sigh and keep on going. I used to get really heartbroken over them. Now I have learned to keep on trucking. There is more than one fish in the sea. Acceptance letters are awesome. I smile and it brightens my day, but I keep on going.
* In regard to the book you’re promoting, which actor and actress do you envision playing the roles of your hero and heroine? If there’s a villain or other characters who are pertinent to the story, who would play those parts?
Well for Draig, I was thinking a sexy Hugh Jackman for the hero as I wrote it. For the heroine, hmmm…Drew Barrymore maybe. I wasn’t thinking anyone in particular, but Lila is kinda quirky in a weird way.
* The book you’re promoting, is it a stand-alone story or part of a series? If it’s part of a series, please list the order the books need to be read in for maximum reading enjoyment.
Currently, I’m writing a series of shorts that take place in a fetish club called Hell’s Gate. They are all stand-alone so there is no particular order they have to be read in. I got the idea by just one line popping into my head. I expanded on the line and realized I could have this club for supernatural creatures that was a haven for them and at the same time they were exploring different fetishes and finding their true loves.
*** Now for some fun info… ***
* Which do you prefer: rain or sun & warm weather or cold weather?
Rain and cold weather.
* If you could live anywhere in the universe, where would it be and why?
If I could live anywhere in the universe, it would probably be right here on Earth. It is such a diverse place and has so many wonderful things. I just need to find a place where people haven’t messed up the environment.
* If you were stranded on a desert island and were only allowed to have five modern conveniences with you, what would they be?
If I were on a desert island I would need, A kindle loaded with all my favorite books, a never ending pad of paper and pens, my mp3 player, toilet paper, sun block.

*** About the book/series… ***
Hell’s Gate: Draig is about a bartender, Lila who has a run in with the new employee Draig. Things heat up between them very fast and she can’t figure out why. I can’t tell too much or I will give it all away.
Hell’s Gate is a fetish club that is a haven for supernatural creatures and opens to humans where they all get to mingle and explore certain fetishes. It isn’t just about the fetish, but about the relationship between the two characters. The books in the world are all stand alone and Draig is the second one so far. I’m working on the third.
Blurb: Lila has been tending bar for five years at Hell's Gate. She is content with her life. However, when Draig walks into the club her world is thrown asunder. There is something about the exotic man that haunts her. She watches him night after night tie up women and can't help but feel jealous. Draig tries to ignore her, but he can't get her out of his mind. The only thing he knows to do is push her away.
Until the one night she finally confronts him and gives him a piece of her mind. Draig tries to keep her out, but he realizes Lila is something special. If he keeps her out, then his one chance of freedom will fly away.

Six Sentence Sunday ~ Wild West Weekend ~ 2.2 ( @crmoss #sixsunday @6_Sunday )

#2 of Six Sentences over six weeks from 'Wild West Weekend'

A faint memory of the first time she and Dakota were allowed to go to a movie by themselves swept through her mind. That afternoon she had felt lighthearted and excited about their date. The anticipation of being alone with a boy she liked, wondering if he’d hold her hand or give her a kiss, had been overwhelming. She felt the same way now. The pleasant sensations were a welcome delight. With a smile plastered on her face, she yanked open the door.

Welcome special guest: author Gabrielle Bisset @gabriellebisset

Today we have author, Gabrielle Bisset, visiting. Her bio: I’m a college history professor during the day, but by nights and weekends, I’m an erotic romance author. My first book was released in June, 2011, and since then I’ve released four more books, including my most recent novel, Destiny Redeemed.  I live in Pennsylvania with my son and far too many cats.

* So,
Gabrielle, what inspired you to become a writer?
I became a writer because one day I just had something to say.  I’d thought about becoming a writer for a long time, but I’d never had a story to tell.  One day when I did, I began to write, and I haven’t stopped.
* When did you attempt your first story? What length was it? What's become of it?
I attempted my first romance story a few years ago, and it still sits in a drawer, hidden away.  It’s about 60K words.
* How many stories did you complete before you sold your first?
I only completed the one that sits in the drawer and then I began work on my first sold book, Stolen Destiny. Now as for stories in the non-romance field, well, those number in the dozens.
* What genre(s) do you write in? What drew you to write in it/them? What’s your favorite genre of all to write in?
I write in erotic paranormal romance and erotic historical romance.  As a history professor, I guess it’s natural that I would gravitate to historical romance, but I love paranormal too.  I love both of them, so I don’t think I can pick a favorite genre.
* What are the best and worst pieces of writing advice you ever received?
The best piece of writing advice I received is to believe in myself. The worst piece of writing advice I received was that readers won’t accept a terribly flawed character.
* How do you celebrate/deal with acceptance/rejection letters?
When I received notice that Siren Publishing wanted to publish my book, I was very excited.  I called all my friends and there was a great deal of smiling that day.  As for rejection letters, I take them in stride.
* In regard to the book you’re promoting, which actor and actress do you envision playing the roles of your hero and heroine? If there’s a villain or other characters who are pertinent to the story, who would play those parts?
This one’s tough.  The hero of Destiny Redeemed is Amon, a 6’6” blond man, so I guess the only actor who comes to mind is Alexander Skarsgard, the actor who plays Eric Northman on True Blood.  As for Thea, the heroine, I think Amanda Seyfried would work. There is a villain, Kiril, but as of yet, I haven’t found any actor who captures his look.  The character is from Eastern Europe and has a very sinister vibe to him, but he’s relatively young—in his early 30s.
* The book you’re promoting, is it a stand-alone story or part of a series? If it’s part of a series, please list the order the books need to be read in for maximum reading enjoyment.
Destiny Redeemed can be read as a stand-alone story, but it’s part of the Destined Ones series of books.  The first book in the series, Stolen Destiny, isn’t required reading to understand the story of Destiny Redeemed, but I certainly would never tell someone not to read it! :) The books in the series are only connected by the idea of Aeveren.
*** Now for some fun info… ***
* What’s your favorite color?
My favorite color is blue, especially deep and dark blues.
* Are you a cat, dog or both kind of person?
I’m definitely a cat person.  In fact, if I’m not careful, I’ll be called the cat lady soon.  I can’t help having a soft spot for strays.  It’s the reason I have five cats.
* What’s your favorite number?
My favorite number is seven because my birthday is 7/7 and I was born at 6:01 am. I’ve always found 7 to be very lucky for me.

*** About the book… ***
My latest release is Destiny Redeemed. The main character, Amon, was in another book, Stolen Destiny, and insisted on having his own book. Here’s the blurb:
Between fate and destiny stands their love...
Sentenced to spend the rest of his three remaining lifetimes in Nil, Amon Kalins is freed with the help of his Sidhe servant, Gethen, but now he must accept his life is never to be his again as the Council won't rest until he's safely back imprisoned within Nil's cold walls. Broken and nearly dead from his time in prison, Amon is saved by an Aeveren healer named Althea Forester. As a healer, Thea has served her people for forty-five lifetimes, never having a destined one and always knowing each lifetime would ultimately end with her alone. But destiny hasn't forgotten her.
Drawn to the seductive Amon, Thea quickly becomes a pawn the Council uses to trap him. Taken prisoner by the sadistic leader of the rebel group, the Soren, Thea must survive the vicious world of the people hellbent on taking her destined one away forever, and Amon must risk everything dear to him to free her from those who would sacrifice her to claim the bigger prize and return him to Nil.
