of Six Sentences over six weeks from 'Dirty Little Demons.'
Registering the beat of the music, she stepped in time with it, following his lead, rubbing her body against his in return. The two of them danced close. For a wondrous moment, she forgot about her duties, forgot about the dangerous world outside the theater, forgot the fine hunk of a man, whose hips oscillated against hers, could die in a matter of hours.
“What’s your name?” The question brought a whiff of his scent to her. The something she couldn’t place before was his pheromones.

Nice six indeed! looking forward to reading more ;)
An enticing six :-) I hope you continue next week.
Interesting. Sounds like the dance floor is the place to be for a few stolen moments of peace.
Love that she's bumping and grinding with him yet doesn't know his name. lol
Oooh, is she a demon, a shifter, a vampire? How can she tell it's pheromones? Very intriguing!
Love the six sentences.

Love the dance floor background. I'm curious as to what she is to recognize his pheromones...hummm...
There's always something hiding in scent, isn't there? :)
