What would you like to tell readers about yourself?

How'd you/your muse come up with this story?
* The idea came to me from a picture prompt used for a flash on my blog. You can find the original flash here: http://thetardisscribbles.blogspot.co.uk/2013/02/tantalizingtuesdays-under-orders.html It kept niggling away at me until I sat down and wrote the story.
