Tali Spencer & 'Adored' @tali_spencer @GoddessFish #Erotic #FantasyRomance

Today we have author Tali Spencer visiting. Welcome!

What would you like to tell readers about yourself?
* Tali Spencer fell in love with writing at an early age and never stopped. Thanks to a restless father, she grew up as a bit of a nomad and still loves to travel whenever she can. Her longest stint in one place was Milwaukee where she went to college, enjoyed a series of interesting careers, and raised three surprisingly well-adjusted sons. She later married her true love and put down new roots in Philadelphia, where she lives in an ongoing Italian American family sitcom. At least she’s learned how make good pasta. When not writing, Tali reads everything from sweet goofy romances to medical research, manages her fantasy football team—go Gekkos!—and takes long walks with her loving, if slightly neurotic, poodle.

* Adora Leonnte, sister to the Uttoran emperor, endured a year trapped in a nightmarish forced marriage to a Sebboyan prince driven by a sinister prophecy to take her against her will. The war that followed destroyed the small country, but she emerges unbroken…if not unscathed. Safe again in Uttor, she vows to put the horrors she faced behind her and once again become the fearless young woman she was before her abduction.
* As fate would have it, her hated kidnapper left her carrying his child, and that is a condition even she cannot wish away. Adora’s enduring hope for romance fades until a blue-eyed, self-possessed foreigner walks back into her life and reawakens feelings promising the erotic delights of which she’s always dreamed.
* Vallmer Berringen, the handsome and devout prince of a country allied with conquered Sebboy, has come to Uttor for two reasons: to secure the treaty that will give his country a much needed alliance, and to fulfill his father’s orders to use the occasion to find a suitable bride. Captivated by Adora’s intelligence and courage, Vallmer is torn by the fact she is both pregnant and pagan. Her infamous reputation taints Adora, a woman that a man of his position and faith should never be tempted to woo.
* Can he reconcile his vision for his country with his passion for a woman whose spirit sets his blood on fire—but for whom kingdoms have gone to war?

Hero and Heroine…
* Did she really expect him to answer so personal a question? Apparently she did, because she was giving him the most provocative smile, one that said she knew she’d put him on the spot. His answer, however, would be too revealing.
* She laughed again, but the sound was warm, embracing. “You know, sex doesn’t have to be impolite. It’s a little undignified, but—”
* “Which is why it is private.”
* “Yes,” she agreed, and cocked her head, reassessing him. “Yes, it is.”
* “Why are we talking about this?”
* “You tell me.”
* Now that would be dangerous. He was talking to her about sex because she made him think of it. Because Adora looked and sounded and smelled like a woman who might enjoy being with a man. Lorant had called her a slut, but Vallmer had never been fool enough to believe it. He had known all along Lorant could not abide being rejected by a woman who found him wanting. Vallmer liked that about Adora, that she was fearless about her opinions. He met too many women who were so completely deferential to men their thoughts could not be trusted.
* “I talk to you this way because I feel I can talk with you about anything, anything at all. And because I feel this way, you can steer me into talking about anything you wish.”
* Her smile beckoned him to thoughts he would do better to avoid. “Are you calling me artful, Prince Vallmer?”
* “I am calling you fascinating.”

Megan Slayer & 'Seeking Davi' @ @GoddessFish #Gay #Paranormal

Today we have author Megan Slayer visiting. Welcome!

What would you like to tell readers about yourself?
* When she's not writing the stories in her head, Megan Slayer can be found luxuriating in her hot tub with her three vampire Cabana boys, Javier, Luke, and Jeremy. She has the tendency to run a tad too far with her muse, so she has to hide in the head of her alter ego, but the boys don't seem to mind.
* When she’s not obsessing over her whip collection, she can be found picking up her kidlet from school. She enjoys writing in all genres, but writing about men in love suits her fancy best. The cabana boys are willing to serve, unless she needs them. She always needs them. So be nice to Javier or he will bite--on command.
* She also masquerades under the name Wendi Zwaduk and is published through Loose ID Publishing, Liquid Silver Books, MLR Press, Resplendence Publishing, Totally Bound Publishing, Ellora’s Cave, Changeling Press and Decadent Publishing.

* A place to belong and strong arms to hold him—but will this shifter get what he needs?
* After being rescued and taken to the Sanctuary, a refuge for lion shifters, Talisman knows he’s safe. But he’s restless. All the other shifters have paired up, except Talisman and one other shifter. The guy is fine, but he doesn’t make Talisman’s heart beat or his lion roar. Talisman refuses to give up looking for what he wants, but he never expected love to come running, stark naked, through a hole in the fence.
* Davi doesn’t understand what’s happened to him. One minute, he’s a happy lion at the petting zoo. The next, he’s being hunted and humans want to use his head as a trophy. When his hope is almost gone, two lions appear to show him an escape route. At the Sanctuary, he realizes his power to shift and the desires of a human male. He doesn’t trust humans, but there’s one shifter he wants to know better.
* Talisman and Davi must decide whether to give in to their animal urges or let the ghosts of the past tear their world apart for good. No matter what they choose, there’s one person who doesn’t want anyone, especially the shifters, to get their happy ending. As Talisman and Davi seek forever, it just might be ripped right out of their hands.

* The guy waited for the longer haired man to walk away then he sat in the grass. He didn’t say anything, remaining quiet.
* Davi watched him, unsure what to do. His cat wanted to sniff out the stranger and scope out the situation. Did Davi trust his cat? Yes, but not that man.
* Neither Davi or the guy sitting in the grass moved for what seemed like forever. Finally, the man spoke. “Davi? My name is Talisman. I don’t know if you remember me from the petting zoo, but I was there with you.” He didn’t look at Davi or even in Davi’s direction. “I think I’m a few months older than you. I remember being in the pens, having the kids pet us and feeling wonderful. Then the good feelings stopped. I know you’re scared. I was scared, too. Unlike the humans at the petting zoo, we won’t hurt you here.”
* Davi debated sitting up but remained hunched down. Maybe, he could trust Talisman, but he didn’t remember him.
* “It’s scary. You’ve shifted, and you don’t understand why. I know. I’ve been there. I didn’t shift until I was safe, but when it happened, I didn’t understand what was going on. It’s okay.” He glanced over to where Davi hid. “If you don’t come out, I can’t help you. I promise. I won’t hurt you, and I’ll help you get used switching between your cat and human forms.”
* “No.” Davi kept hiding, but decided to at least try to talk to Talisman.
* “Can you come out?” Talisman crawled across the grass, closer to Davi. “Would it help if I shifted?” He didn’t wait for an answer. Instead, he yanked his shirt up over his head then stood and shoved his pants down his legs. He kicked out of the boots and stood nude before Davi.
* Davi watched Talisman move. Wow. He’d never seen a naked man before, but if that’s what they looked like, he liked what he saw. His cat wasn’t upset, either.
* Talisman dropped to his knees and placed his hands in the grass. He lowered his head then wriggled. Fur sprouted on Talisman’s shoulders and back. His teeth elongated and a growl ripped from his throat. The fur spread down his chest to his belly and covered his legs. His hands and feet shifted into paws. When he shook his head, thick fur sprouted behind his ears and beneath his chin. Before Davi’s eyes, the man shifted into the lion.

Blurb for A Ghost of a Chance
Keenan Swanson is your typical, everyday graphic designer. Well, except for the hundreds of pesky, prank-loving poltergeists that make his life interesting (in a Chinese curse sort of way). He finds his situation precarious yet manageable—until witty, smoking-hot coworker Isabella enters the scene and Keenan decides he wants her all for himself. With a horny succubus who has other ideas, a burly city cop determined to lock Keenan away, and an evil entity who’s hell-bent on using Keenan’s seed to create a living demon, the reluctant psychic realizes he just might not come out of this alive—or with heart intact.

Excerpt for
A Ghost of a Chance
Keenan headed down Thirty-second Street, turned left onto Hawthorn, and ran like an antelope with a lion biting his tail.
When he hit the crowd outside Taps at full speed, he came to a crashing halt and sailed to the ground, taking down two brawny beer drinkers, their respective girlfriends, and an innocent table that was sitting there minding its own business. Four obviously filled pints of stout flew through the air and the contents rained down on the struggling quintet in a dark brown shower, soaking all of them. Two of the empty pints hit Keenan squarely on the back of the head, one after the other.
The tangled pile of human beings and beer began to disentangle itself, but Keenan’s head was spinning wildly. So wildly, in fact, that he didn’t feel himself roughly yanked to his feet and then off of them, or see the swollen fist appear out of thin air until it was too late. All he heard was a distant son of a bitch and the sound of meaty flesh striking cheekbone.
The sparklers that gleamed in front of his eyes reminded him of the Fourth of July on the coast. He found himself down on the ground again.
“…you stupid prick!” The words soaked into his stupor and he squinted up to see six-foot-six of angry male mountain, a pleading red head attached to the man’s arm.
Not that it would have stopped another blow, but Keenan forced his hands into the submissive position and tried to find his voice. “Oh, man…” he said to the mountain. “I’m really sorry. Are you all right?”
