'Sunset' on Summer Fun! ( @BTShowcase @decadentpub #kindle #Nook #books )

Well, it’s almost the "official" end of summer. Why do I have the word official in quotes? Cause where I live I’ll still be able to enjoy summer like weather and wear shorts until the end of October and into November if the temps hold out. That’s the one nice thing about living in the southwest, being able to experience nice weather almost year round. Granted, June, July and August can be unbearable at times when it comes to 110+ degrees of heat, but the rest of the year makes up for it. Plus, I’d rather be in the heat than the cold. Yeah, I’m strange that way. ;) Viva Las Vegas!
* In celebration of the “end of summer” & the ridiculous heat, I’ve joined up on the Sunset on Summer Fun Blog Hop! And, how cool is it that I have a series called 'Sunset' that I'm featuring in this tour?! There are some great prizes to be had from the sponsors & participants. Like you, I live in the southwest, so i will continue to enjoy warm weather well into October and November. I am happy the hottest part of the summer is over and the kids are back in school. Thanks for being part of the hop and for the chance to win. <^_^>

I am very happy to see summer go. I live in the southeast, & we too will be experiencing hot weather for a couple more months, but thankfully the worst is over. Also, school starts!!! YAY!!!

I'm very happy. I know that it is still going to take a little while for that being in sunny California and all. But I have had enough of the very bright sunny and all that glare and heat.

Honestly, I live in SW Florida, so our summer is pretty much 9 months a year. Lol.
As far as seeing it go, I like the longer daylight hours and there are not many tourists during the actual summer months. So, I think I will be a little sad to see it go. :)
Thank you for the wonderful giveaway!

I have mixed feelings on seeing summer go. I'm happy because then we wont have bees or mosquitoes and we'd also have all the beautiful colors from the leaves changing. I'm sad because then we wont have the warm weather, the beautiful flowers or gardens.
