Woot! A new release for the 1NS series! 'Sunset Heat' ( @decadentpub #1NightStand #1NS )
* Yay! My fourth 1NightStand story for Decadent Publishing is available! Check it out...
~ Blurb ~
* Can one night transform a woman's life?
* Seana’s cousin has set her up. She doesn’t like blind dates and doesn’t trust men, no matter how handsome. Especially ones who have hurt her in the past. Can Zach change her mind before his police work ruins their second chance?
~ Excerpt ~
* “I had it bad for you.”
* “So, what’s your wish now?”
* If she leaned toward him, turned just enough, maybe he’d kiss her. Did she have the nerve? What would he think of her advance?
* “Seana?”
* She closed her eyes, relishing the silky way he spoke her name. “Hmm?”
* “Your wish. You’re going to enter the drawing the charity is having, right?”
* “I can’t say or it won’t come true,” she murmured. Just move your face toward his. Do it! Though her inner diva cheered her on, she couldn’t.
* “A superstition for shooting stars and birthday candles.”
* “So? I don’t want to take chances.” Yes you do, her inner cheerleader chided.
* He brushed his cheek against hers. Warm breath caressed her ear. Restless throbs of desire pulsed in her veins. Sexual excitement curled in her womb. It’d been quite some time since feeling those particular sensations. Who’d I do it with last? Oh, the guy in the off-Broadway showing of West Side Story. Antonio something or other. She’d almost told him she loved him, but his ex-girlfriend came back into the picture, which snipped her out of it.
* Could Zach be her one? Even after all this time and despite their difficulties? Back when she’d helped him in high school, she’d wanted him and would have given him her all. She didn’t feel any different now. Turning her face toward his finally, she prepared for the first of what she hoped would be many kisses. None came. He wasn’t as close as she thought. Seana stared into his eyes, becoming lost in their depths.
* “Seana?”
* “Yes?” She breathed in his spicy, clean scent, wanting to nibble on the muscle stretching from his neck into the top of his white dress shirt.
* “Tell me more about the tutoring room.”
* “Why? Interested in playing out my fantasy?”
* Zach rubbed her knee. His touch seared her skin under her black sequined dress. “But we’re not in a school. There are no classrooms to use.”
* The scenario she’d envisioned as a young adult awaited her next move. If there’s ever a time to be bold and spontaneous, it’s now. Quit stalling and take the leap. Feeling naughty and way too frisky to miss the opportunity, she drew circles on his leg with her fingertip. “We can improvise by going up to your room or mine and pretending we’re in a classroom.”
* Seconds clicked by. Zach didn’t say a word. Wasn’t he interested? Her palms became clammy. I can’t be rejected again.

Woot! A new release for the 1NS series! ( @decadentpub #1NightStand #1NS )
* Yay! My third 1NightStand story for Decadent Publishing is available! Check it out...
~ Blurb ~
* Can wishes come true in just one night?
* Roommates, Ivy Tramonto and Kiran Emerson, are heading out for their blind dates set up through a prestigious matchmaking service. Neither know anything about the men they're to meet at a charity event being held in a mountain resort, but they're looking forward to the adventure and forgetting about all their problems for an evening.
* Resort owner, Robert Bourbon, doesn't have time to play the field, especially when he wants a polyamorous relationship. After requesting the services of Madame Eve, he's matched with the perfect pair and believes life can't get any better.
* Everything seems to be going great, until a mistake one of them made comes back to haunt them. Will they make it through the dilemma or will they miss out on having their true desires granted?
~ Excerpt ~
* The man’s smooth, accented voice, along with the way his slow, seductive gaze sweeping up and down Kiran’s body sent his libido raging. The appraisal was followed by a sexy grin of approval. Heat lanced his gut and sliced straight to his cock. The other man’s strong facial features and straight white teeth filled Kiran with wanting and a need to be close to him. He accepted a handshake and cleared his throat. “Please, call me Kiran.”
* “Kiran it is then. Feel free to call me Robert or Rob.”
* Kiran dropped into the chair before his knees gave out on him.
* “So what are you drinking?” Robert took a seat across the small table from him.
* “Bourbon, Mr. Bourbon.” His attempt at humor didn’t come off like he’d wanted. He hoped Robert didn’t think it was as cheesy as it sounded.
* The corner of his lips tilted up for a second. “Sounds good. May I have a taste?”
* Robert moved for the glass with one hand and took Kiran’s in his other. Kiran sat transfixed as his date dipped one finger into the liquid. The man rubbed the amber drops over his lips then slipped the digit into his mouth and sucked on it. “Mmm, good.” He waved at the bartender, indicated the glass of liquor, then held up two fingers. He looked back at Kiran. “Hope you don’t mind.”
* Entranced by gorgeous green eyes and suave demeanor, Kiran smiled. “Nope. Forward. Decisive. I like that in a man.”
* “Well, if I’m reading the vibes correctly, you like me, and I’m very attracted to you. So why beat around the bush?”

Hump Day H00k ~ Looking at Sunsets #HDH for Mar. 13
Hi all! Wow. Another week's come and gone, and we're back to Hump Day Hook where authors share snippets from their stories. :)
I'm currently doing edits on my third 1NightStand story, Sunset Temptations, so I thought I'd share a bit from my first installment. The following comes from Sunset Desires book 1 of my Sunset series for Decadent Publishing's 1NS series. Enjoy!
* Gwen shook her head. “No. Just a little nervous is all.” To calm down she sucked in a humid stream of air, bringing with it the heady scents of sand, sun, and surf mixed with the aromas of bar food and beer. Though the sun dipped toward the horizon, the heat still stuck around. The warmth didn’t bother her, but her anxiety about the upcoming situation did. Heather had asked some pretty personal questions. At the time, she’d figured her cousin had grown lonely—too much work, not enough socializing, and probably wanted a better connection with family, a friend. But now…. Despite the high temperature, a chill racked her body. “Oh my God, that fantasy question. You told a total stranger about my fantasy?” Her high-pitched squeal rose above the clamor of the bar.
Please don't forget to stop by and read the other authors participating in this week's HDH ~ http://humpdayhook.blogspot.co.uk

Decadent's Reader for a Reader & B00ks Bl0g H0p ( @decadentpub #SO )
* Las Vegas… I love setting stories in the city. It’s such a diverse place—lots to do and see on the strip and off. My second sunset story for the 1NS series, Sunset Seduction, takes place in a hotel room in Las Vegas. The characters have a view of the city and mountains and both take note of the setting sun. I describe the sunset’s colors as the sun settles and dips behind the western range, setting the scene for romance. Then there’s part of the story where they’re at a window. Down on the valley floor are the twinkling golden lights.
* The next two sunset books (Sunset Temptations & Sunset Heat) in the works will be set up on Mt. Charleston. But for now, here’s the info on Sunset Seduction…
* One evening. One date. Easy right?
* Heather Tramonto, a business woman with only her career and a quickie on her mind, is all set for her 1NS date and a bit of adult fun–no conditions, no commitment–when a surprise shows up at her door.
* Lane Stanwyck is entering the dating world after years of an estranged marriage and the passing of his hostile wife. When Madame Eve schedules an anonymous tryst for him–no conditions, no commitment–he believes it to be the perfect arrangement for his first time out in the dating field in ages. That is until he sees the woman of his dreams.
* One night. No strings. That might be a problem for this pair.
* Aside from my love of sunsets, there’s another reason ‘sunset’ is used in the titles for the stories I’m writing, but you’ll have to read them to find out what it is. ;)
* In participation of Decadent's giveaway, an e-book copy of Sunset Seduction is offered along with the other books.

Black Friday Bl0g H0p ( #DecadentBFHop @decadentpub #FF )
* The Beauty and Romance of a Sunset...
* Sunsets. Viewing them is a simple pleasure of mine. The phenomena are such a beauty to behold and so varied in their coloring depending upon location, season, and atmospheric conditions. It’s due to living in Las Vegas that spurred on my love of sunsets. [See, it’s not all about the strip and gambling! ;)] I’ve seen some spectacular ones with gorgeous fiery reds, oranges, and yellows or amethyst and fuchsia to name a few.
* In the summer of 2008 I went on my first cruise. We stopped at ports in Cozumel and Grand Cayman. It was so nice enjoying the beauty of the water, the beaches and the sunsets, especially since we live hours from an ocean beach in a desert area. One late afternoon we were hanging out on a patio just off one of the ship’s dining rooms and experienced a beautiful golden sunset.
* Did you know that there is a little place called Hell on Grand Cayman? In Hell you’ll find a group of short, black, limestone formations roughly the size of half a soccer field. There are two viewing platforms for tourists since people aren’t allowed to traverse in the area. It’s claimed that the name derived from the fact that if a pebble is thrown out into the formation, it echoes amongst the limestone peaks and valleys and sounds as if the pebble is falling all the way down to hell. But I digress… We spent the bulk of our time on Seven Mile beach and had food and drinks at a little bar/restaurant. The open air, pub-style beach bar reminded me of a Southern-style wraparound porch except this place had a tin roof. The experience of the cruise and visiting Grand Cayman inspired me to write a few stories, including my first Decadent Publishing 1NS release Sunset Desires.
* Sunset Desires ~ A blind date. A hot tropical evening. She’ll be someone he can’t forget. He’ll fulfill her ultimate fantasy.
* Back to Las Vegas… I love setting stories in the city, not just because I live here but also because, like sunsets, it’s such a diverse place—lots to do and see on the strip and off. My next sunset story, Sunset Seduction, takes place in a hotel room in Las Vegas. The characters have a view of the city and mountains and both take note of the setting sun. I describe the sunset’s colors as the sun settles and dips behind the western range, setting the scene for romance. And, the cover—done in the spirit of the story, sunsets and the exciting city of Las Vegas—is hot!
* Sunset Seduction ~ One evening. One date. Easy right?
* Aside from my love of sunsets, there’s another reason ‘sunset’ is used in the titles for the stories I’m writing, but you’ll have to read them to find out what it is. ;)
* To celebrate Black Friday, I’m giving away either an e-book copy of Sunset Desires or Sunset Seduction ~ winner’s choice.
One date. Easy right?

1NS Bl0g H0p ~ Day 3 ~ the 'Sunset' ladies ( @crmoss @decadentpub #1NSHop )

In Sunset Desires I introduce the four Tramonto women ~ Gwen and her sister Ivy and their cousins Heather and Seana. And in this story, set in Grand Cayman, Gwen has her 1NS date which was set up by Heather. In fact, Heather is the mastermind behind all the 1NS dates for the women. Nice of her, eh? So here's Gwen, not a classic beauty but not ugly either, who's an overworked cocktail waitress on vacation with her family when the date is sprung on her. Her match, Evan Cadell, is a handsome fellow who is happy to fulfill her biggest fanatsy. For more info and to purchase Sunset Desires visit Decadent Publishing
Sunset Seduction sees Heather having her own date. She's a strong woman who's been independent for years and successful in business. She figures a quicky in a hotel room in Las Vegas will satisfy any need she has for intimacy. Boy was she in for a surprise when her date showed up and she learned who he was! For more info and to purchase Sunset Seduction visit Decadent Publishing
Ivy and Seana will each have a date in the next two books ~ Sunset Temptations and Sunset Heat. These stories are currently works in progress which I'm hoping to have done and submitted in the next couple of months.
Ivy is an athletic woman and thrill-seeker who can't seem to settle down for anything. She lives with her best friend, a bi male named Kiran. His friends call him Ki ('Key') for short and he ends up on a matched date the same night that hers is to happen. The tag line for Sunset Temptations is Two's company and three's never a crowd. Be on the look out here on my blog for more info on this story as it comes available!
The last book Sunset Heat ties in with book three since Ivy, Kiran, and Seana are heading to the same place for some pre-high school reunion events. Seana hooks up with an old crush who comes to her rescue when she finds herself in a spot of trouble. Again, keep tuned to my blog for details on this story and the others. :)
Tomorrow for Six Sentence Sunday & the last day of the 1NS hop I'll be sharing lines from Sunset Seduction so please stop back and comment!
Along with the great main prizes being given away for the hop (see the list here: Blog Hop Info) I'm also giving away an E copy of Sunset Desires in celebration of this hop. 1NS Bl0g H0p ~ Day 1 ~ Las Vegas ( @crmoss @decadentpub #1NSHop )

him if we should move to a location that had better weather. He said yes, and less than a year later, we were in Las Vegas…enjoying the sun, the blue sky, the dry climate. Training was better for him since he didn’t have to contend with rain, snow, humidity…
I was part of his support team, going to races as a spectator and volunteer, helping out on training runs and rides, acted as moral support in our home. Many mornings we were up at the crack of dawn…sometimes out the door by 4 AM to get to a race by 5 AM (yep, ‘two fives in a day’ and one is much too early for this ol’ girl. LOL!) One time here in town for the marathon, I spent close to four hours standing by myself near the finish line, guarding a bag of gear and goodies. It’s a good thing I have an imagination and know how to entertain myself!
So, how did hubby and I decide on Las Vegas as a place to live? We traveled here for a number of vacations, then when we finally made the decision to relocate, we came out over a Thanksgiving weekend to look at homes. Talk about turkey overload. Hubby and I went to two different buffets that day! The first one was around lunch time. We ate at the Carnival World Buffet over at the Rio. Lots of food, great seafood and of course we had our share of the Tom bird. Later that day, actually into the evening when we realized we were hungry again (yes, hours later…lol!) we went to the buffet in the hotel we were staying in and had a second Turkey day meal. I’m amazed we didn’t pass out at the table or have to be rolled out of the dining area! Did you know that there are races here in town called Turkey Trot and Catch the Gobbler? They’re races between 5K and 10K and the events also offer 1 mile walks. We also came out one year for the marathon. This used to be when it was held at the end of January, beginning of February. The marathon is now held in the beginning of December. I’ve even written a couple of stories incorporating Las Vegas and the races.
So you might be asking ~ What does this all have to do with the 1NS series and my 1NS books? Well, I like using Las Vegas as a location and some of my experiences here in my stories. My first Decadent Publishing release, Sunset Desires, though not set completely in Las Vegas has a character from the area and the story ends in a Las Vegas casino. The second book, Sunset Seduction, is set in a hotel room (similar to one hubby and I stayed in when he was in the marathon) in Las Vegas and the last two books I’m planning will be set in and around the city. I’m excited about being with Decadent Publishing and being a part of their 1NS line of stories. Keep tuned here on my blog during the next few days for more on my 1NS books!

Six Sentence Sunday for Apr. 29 ~ Sunset Desires ( #sixsunday @6_Sunday @DecadentPub )
Six Sentences from Sunset Desires
“Why? Is there more?”
Gwen froze, trying to keep her expression neutral since he still fixated on her via the reflection. She couldn’t tell him, didn’t want to tell him about the rest of her silly dreams. His uncle had paid for his set up just as Heather had paid for hers. He’d said he’d saved up for the room and outfit. It wasn’t like he had money and could fulfill her whole fantasy, so why bring it up?

Six Sentences from Sunset Desires
His mouth, so very close to her throat, let slip wicked hot breath against her skin. If he were a vampire, this would be the part where he’d bite her. She pushed the fictional thoughts aside, desiring reality, welcoming him to kiss her…lick her…suckle on the curve where her shoulder met her neck. She leaned back, bare parts of her skin encountering the hard planes of his chest.
“Shall we…?” His voice rumbled in his chest and against her back.
