What would you like to tell readers about yourself?

* Starla has been writing and publishing in different romance sub-genres and lengths for twenty years. Her first published book, Tug of Love, was a “sweet” romance published with iUniverse. Currently she mainly writes edgier romances with an erotic or slightly naughty focus.
* She enjoys writing about strong-willed, independent women who butt heads with equally determined, self-confident, and slightly domineering men. Her belief in relation to her heroes is to find them their perfect match, but make him really work for the happily-for-now or happily-ever-after with the woman who wins his heart. Of course, she likes her heroines to be challenged as well. Love isn't easy.
* To date she has published 20 novels, 38 novellas, 8 anthologies, 3 audio books, and 18 short stories. Starla writes for Decadent Publishing, Black Velvet Seductions, and Blushing Books.

First, what would you like to tell readers about yourself?

* I’ve always had a vivid imagination and written since an early age. Now juggling life as a mother, full-time worker, and thriving author, I struggle to find any reading time - but when I open a book, I want it fast, hot, and edgy! Striving to give my own stories the same intensity, I currently divide my writing time between psychological thriller, erotic contemporary romance, and dripping erotica.

What are you going to tell us about today?
* My contemporary, erotic, menage romance story High Risk Fever. Thank you for having me on your blog!

How'd you/your muse come up with this story?
* It’s quite funny, actually, because I was invited to participate in an erotica anthology last year and thought, why not? I just needed to find a story to tell and drool-worthy characters to develop—at least one such male, because I had a feeling the POV would be female. The question was, which guy was so hot he deserved I wrote him an erotica? Thinking a bit, I remembered a photo I’d seen earlier of dancer Aaron Sillis on a bicycle—and just like that, I had my hero, and already the heroine was whispering in my ear *grins* The anthology didn’t happen, but here’s Micaela’s and Anne’s story!

Describe the hero in five words.
* Micaela is self-confident, sexy, warm-blooded, athletic, and mischievous.

Describe the heroine in five words.
* Anne is beautiful, quiet, frustrated, vibrant, and headstrong.

Describe the second hero in five words.
* Todd is handsome, muscular, caring, generous, and intelligent.

Who's your favorite character in the book & why?
* Mica, as the heroine calls him, is definitely my favorite. I have given him all the qualities I like in a man. :)

What's your favorite line in the story?
* “I must be delirious.” (Anne, realizing her attraction for another man than her husband).

* From Leigh: I am thrilled to be part of the Decadent family! The idea for A Different Class came about after an invitation arrived for an upcoming high school reunion. I asked myself what might happen if somebody felt reluctant to attend because of bad experiences and memories, and how one night arranged by Madame Eve changes everything. It’s taken me a long time to get past all the crap I put up with in high school, and if you think I’m going to show up at some rented ballroom all smiles as though the hell you assholes you put me through never happened, forget it.”
* What? The man’s anger surged through him and sped up his heartbeat. “I’m sorry. I didn’t mean—”
* “F*** you, f*** FDR High, and f*** every last piece-of-shit homophobe in that backwater town. I hope you all get cancer.”
* Click.
* Beth burst back into the room, waving a thick tome with a scaly blue cover. “Found it,” she chirped.
* “Never mind.” Glenn pushed away from his workspace. Mumbles Maloney’s palpable rage lingered in the quiet of the small office, invoking a sense of doom in an otherwise dull place. He doubted he’d forget the voice for a long while. The man had pent-up issues with his former schoolmates, no doubt, yet for all the vitriol burning through the airwaves and sizzling in the veins, Mumbles had sounded…well….
