a look at Maia Dylan & 'No Impact' @Maiadylanauthor @evernightpub #Gay #Romance

Today we have author Maia Dylan visiting. Welcome!

What would you like to tell readers about yourself?
* Maia Dylan lives, loves and works in beautiful New Zealand. She married her best friend and they have two adorable, but stubborn children who obviously take after their father.
* Maia’s career has featured a lot of travel, and she has filled her time at airports and in the air with books, books and more books. Her love of erotic paranormal romance has seen her amass a huge library. She has been an avid reader and lover of ménage romances since she read her first book in this genre about three years ago.
* Outside of writing, Maia loves to eat, so she loves to cook! Her herb garden is legendary, but she still has issues getting tomatoes to grow. She’s been a performer for years, and has even sung on international stages, she would love to own a classic Ford Mustang one day and of course have the opportunity to race it on a race track without fear of a speeding ticket.
* Although ultimately her dream is to be able to write full time on a sandy beach with a Mai Tai at hand, she is quite happy to fit her writing in when she can. As long as someone reads her books, gets a laugh and maybe come to love her characters and much as she does, then she feels that she is living her dreams no matter what!

Q: Every book is special to an author. What is it about this book that makes it special for you?
* A: This is the second book in a series of four and it all stemmed from an image I found that sparked my interest. That is one of the very real reasons I love writing! You find inspiration everywhere and a story idea can strike at any time.

Q: Sometimes things happen when you are writing a series that wasn’t expected at all. Have you had this happen to you?
* A: Heaps! I am not a planner. I am a write-by-the-set-of-your-panties kinda girl. There have been moments where I will finish up a scene and be like WTF? I did not see that coming! This whole series started with an image I found that I simply couldn’t let go of.

Q. Why do you always include a danger element to your books?
* A. I write what I love to read. I love books that take you on a journey, but where the characters face a challenge that adds an element of urgency to them and to the book. As a reader, there is nothing I like more than getting that goose bump, hair rising on the back of my neck feeling as I join the characters within the book I am reading on the journey to solve their mystery. I want to give that to my readers.

Q. What are you working on at the moment?
* A. I have book nine of the Grey River series, as well as book three in the Sniper Team Bravo series. There is also a new Shifter Ménage series coming soon and a standalone MM as well. Soooo many stories to tell, so little time!

Q. Do you have anything to say to your current readers or to those that haven’t yet read you work?
* A. If you have read any of my books, thank you so very much! It blows my mind that someone has actually read something that I wrote, but gosh I hope you enjoyed it! Did you? Please let me know, I find I suffer from a slight case of needy-nelly with my writing. If you haven’t read my book, but you love erotic romance stories between strong men and an independent woman, where the path to their happily ever after can be a bumpy one, but there is always a happily ever after, and their love and laugher is real on every page, then you’ll find my books right up your alley!

What are you going to tell us about today?
* Thank you for hosting me for my latest release with Evernight Publishing, No Impact – Sniper Team Bravo 1. This book released on August 2. If your readers would like to they can post questions to me on Twitter using the following hashtag #SniperTeamBravo and tag me using @Maiadylanauthor and I will answer them as I see them.

* Life is about making an impact, and risking everything to ensure you do…

a look at Gale Stanley & 'Bad Teddy Bear' @galestanley @evernightpub #Gay #romance

Writers get ideas in so many different ways. The plot for BAD TEDDY BEAR came to me while watching a football game. Of course, I missed all the good plays because most of the action was going on inside my head. And now here it is in an ebook.
BAD TEDDY BEAR
Cover Artist: Jay Aheer
Blurb
Down and dirty sex. That’s the name of the game for Theodore West.  They still call him Bear, even though his days in pro ball are over. Plenty of men are still anxious to be topped by the Bear and he’s happy to oblige as long as his partner understands the rules. No strings and no repeats.
Bear could win an academy award for his alpha-player performance, but in reality, he’d love to give up control. He’s a big man who likes the idea of being topped by a twink. In college, he found the perfect lover, but he dumped him rather than risk tarnishing his image. When Finn shows up, he turns Bear’s world upside-down. But, can the Bad Teddy Bear finally accept his submissive side?
Teaser
The musky scent of sex filled Bear’s nostrils. Revved up, he pounded away at the man under him. Each forceful thrust brought a grunt from Bear and an answering groan from Jack… Whatshisname?
“Gotta come. Bear, please.”
Bear was close too. He reached around and fisted Jack’s dick. He started pumping—
“Fuck.” Jack’s balls drew up tight and he soaked the mattress with his cum.
Bear followed. A few seconds later, he pulled out and rose on his knees to remove the condom. Drained, he lay on his back panting, and ran a hand through the damp matted hair on his chest. Before Bear could protest, Jack leaned over and planted a sloppy kiss on his lips.
What the fuck!
Smooching might be fun for some guys but Bear considered it a sexual speed bump. Something to be tolerated in order to get to the good stuff. Well the good stuff was over and Bear wasn’t interested in lovey-dovey bullshit. Sure, he had feelings, but they were all below his waist. Sex was a biological urge like being thirsty or taking a piss. Once he satisfied an urge, he was done. End of story.
Jack snuggled against his body. “That was great, Bear. When I recognized you at the minimart, I never thought I’d end up getting fucked by the Big Bad Bear.”
“Guess this was your lucky day.”
“I’ll never forget that play you made right before you got injured. You could have been one of the greats.”
For crying out loud. Bear didn’t need the reminder. He could replay every second of that night in his head.
“But you’re still built like a brick house. Hot. As. Hell. Blah, blah, blah…”
Jack’s words were a low, insistent drone in Bear’s ear, like a bunch of honeybees buzzing around his head. He tuned them out, grunted and sat up. Pillow talk bored him. Careful of his aching knees, he swung his legs over the side of the bed.
“Hey. You don’t have to go. Stay. I’ll order a pizza.”
Bear stood up and finger combed his shaggy brown mane. He never spent the night. Just like he never brought a hookup back to his place. Even if he didn’t work nights, and have the old man to worry about, he wouldn’t do a sleepover. What was the point? He got what he came for. His sexual tension had been relieved and he felt good. Why spoil it with a cuddle. Cuddlers were space invaders and intimacy made a guy vulnerable.
Bear picked up his clothes. “Gotta go to work.”
“Where? Call me—”
Bear slammed the bedroom door behind him and struggled into his jeans. Jack didn’t follow. Guess he finally got the idea. Jack knew what he was getting. Or not getting. Bear always laid down the ground rules before hooking up. No long-term relationships. Some guys thought a good fuck would change everything. Ahh, sorry Jack. It wasn’t that good. Not for me, anyway.
Bear gripped his car keys and left Jack’s apartment. He had just enough time to stop home, shower, and put the old man to bed.
Happy Reading!

a look at Sarah Marsh & 'Precious Cargo' @SM_fiction @evernightpub #preciouscargo

Today we have author Sarah Marsh visiting. Welcome!

What would you like to tell readers about yourself?
* Sarah Marsh was born in British Columbia where she still lives, she has only recently began her writing career finding it the perfect outlet for taking the edge off a nine to five office job. She’s been a science fiction and romance junkie for years and when her imagination started to take the characters she’d read about even further in their adventures she decided to try writing something of her own.
* Sarah’s also a former pastry chef and spends a lot of time cooking and baking for friends and family as well as painting and knitting. Her biggest weaknesses are animals of any kind…she even loves the ones that wake you up at four in the morning because they can almost see the bottom of their food dish.
* When it comes to life in general she’s a big believer that laughter is the best medicine and that there’s no such thing as too much love, which is why she’s such a sucker for a happy ending.
What are you going to tell us about today?
~ Blurb ~
* What would you do if you woke to find yourself confronted with an entirely new universe? Alison Baker deals with it the best way she knows how, one day at a time.
* Alison wakes in the midst of a nightmare, complete with monsters included. She winds up being rescued by three alien males but when it comes to her future she’ll need to learn to open up her mind and her heart if she hopes to survive the virus that her kidnappers infected her with.
* Clan Drogan are quite content with their lives and careers, when their ship gets attacked by pirates and they are forced to protect themselves, their spoils of war come in the most unexpected of packages. They’ve never met any female like Ali before, and her sweet and caring nature draws them to her like a moth to a flame. But they have commitments of their own when it comes to their future, will the three of them be able to decide once and for all if their intended mate back home is the right one for them? Or will they follow their instincts and see where their attraction to Alison leads?
* Ali knows that Conn, Kal, and Tannen are meant for another woman, but she can’t seem to help herself when it comes to falling for the three charming men. They introduce her to pleasures she’s never even imagined; how could just a taste ever really be enough? When they finally arrive on the men’s home planet of Dolak, she sees first hand that her competition for their hearts is fierce and not about to go away quietly.
* Will she find the strength to stand up and fight for what she wants?
~ Excerpt ~
* Kal had been trying all morning to get some work done, but his mind kept wandering back to delectable little Ali, and eventually he just quit what he was doing and went to track down her and Conn to see what they had gotten up to. He certainly hadn’t been expecting to find what he had when he’d walked into the observatory, but the sight of the two of them half naked, kissing on the couch brought his cock to full attention in a matter of seconds.
* “I see I’ve arrived just in the nick of time.” Kal smiled as he walked up to the couple and ran a finger gently along Alison’s flushed cheek. “Is there room for one more?”
* He loved the way her blush got brighter as she bit her lip and nodded yes to him. Conn lifted his head from nibbling on her neck, and Kal slowly leaned in to take the other man’s mouth in a sultry, deep kiss. Alison’s breathing became even more rapid and her eyes went heavy with lust as she took in the scene before her.
* Kal had his suspicions that Ali would enjoy seeing him with Conn and Tannen, and it seemed he was correct. The aroma of her desire was filling the room, causing their own pheromones to increase in return. Their sweet little Alison couldn’t have been a better match for them if she’d come straight from their wildest fantasies. It seemed that his plan to convince his two bond mates of that fact was coming to fruition without much interference from him at all. He stopped for a moment to watch as Conn continued to grind himself against the woman below him, drawing sweet whimpers from her lips.
* “Get naked and get over here,” Conn said to him after he broke the kiss, and returned to torment Alison with kisses on her neck as Kal rounded the couch and began to undress.
* Just as last night, Kal could feel her eyes roaming over his skin as he took off his clothes, and a thrill went through him at the thought that she admired what most of his people saw as a defect. The only other two beings in his life that had ever looked at him that way were Tannen and Conn, and once he’d found them, he’d vowed never to let them go.
* Kal loved the sound of her gasp as he took his briefs off along with his pants this time, revealing his long, hard cock that was aching for both her and his Captain.
* “Isn’t he beautiful?” Conn whispered in her ear, as they both watched Kal undress, with rapt desire. “It always takes my breath away to see the contrast of his skin against my own.”
* Ali looked from one to the other, a slow smile forming on her beautiful lips, and Kal could only hope that she was imagining them entwined in each other’s arms.
* “He is,” she finally agreed on a sigh, as Kal finished and moved towards them.
* Conn finally released her arms, only to move his hands down her torso, and he began to slowly raise the shirt that had been covering her.
* “May I?” Conn asked, looking deep into her eyes for permission to remove the barrier.

~ A Q&A ~
* Q: Where did your inspiration come from for this novella?
* A: Evernight asked for submissions for their Dark Anthology, and I submitted this book for it. I found out I am not so good at writing the darkness into my characters, there is too much humor and love for it to be dark, but I loved Liam an Scott and am grateful that their story has been told.
* Q: Sometimes things happen when you are writing a series that wasn’t expected at all. Have you had this happen to you?

* A. I am about to sub my second book in my Sniper Team Bravo series, and have started a new stand alone for a menage box set coming later in the year. I have decided that I have too many stories and need to try and grow another pair of hands to type with!
* Q. Do you have anything to say to your current readers or to those that haven’t yet read you work?

* He was just abducted, and he’s never felt freer…
* Liam ‘Lee’ Hallion had an assignment. Kill the one person in the world he’d cared about since losing his parents. When he discovers that everything in his life was not what he thought it was, he decides to make a stand and take the head of the snake who betrayed him. The first step of his plan was to abduct the man’s son.
* Scott Majors had no idea why he’d been abducted, but he was going to try everything he could to escape. When he discovers the true identity of the man who abducted him, his urge to escape quickly becomes a desperate desire to be kept.
* Can Liam and Scott survive the evil hell bent on ending them both, or will this abduction end in blood?
* Be Warned: erotic romance, MM, anal sex
~ Excerpt ~
* “You’re bleeding.” The man sounded pissed off as if the fact that Scott was bleeding was somehow his own fault and a complete inconvenience. “Damn it, let me see them.”
* Scott scrambled back on the bed, pushing into the wall. “Get the hell away from me!”
* The man sighed and moved toward the wall. Light exploded within the room, and Scott lifted his hand to shield his eyes. “You’re really not in any position to make demands, Scott. Not with me.”
* Scott froze against the wall, blinking rapidly to get his eyes accustomed to the light. “How do you know my name? Who are you and what the hell do you want with me?”
* “There’s not a whole hell of a lot I don’t know about you, Scott,” the man answered dryly.
* Scott dropped his hand and looked up at his captor. In any other circumstance, the man before him would have captured his attention. He was exactly the sort of man that Scott liked and fantasized about. He was tall, at least six foot four, and built like he knew his way around a gym and worked his way around one every chance he got. He had wavy black hair, short on the sides but longer on top, a square jaw with a day’s stubble, and blue eyes that had Scott’s heart stuttering within his chest. Did he know those eyes? Shaking his head and blaming it on the knock to his head, Scott put that thought aside and concentrated on what the man was saying.
* “I know you are Scott Theodore Majors, you’re an ER nurse at St Luke’s, and you’ve just finished your shifts for the week. You’re not rostered on for the next four days.”
* Scott started to tremble. From his medical training, he knew that shock was starting to set in.
* Scott’s mind whirled. “I have a boyfriend, and he’s expecting me home. He would have called the police by now.” The man’s eyes narrowed, and Scott thought he might have just made a critical error.
* “Did I not just finish telling you that there isn’t a lot I don’t know about you, Scott?” He whirled away and walked to a door Scott hadn’t noticed before. He opened it and switched the light on. “We are currently in the basement of my house, on my property in the middle of nowhere. My nearest neighbors are more than fifteen miles away, and no one comes to visit. There are no windows in this room, or in the bathroom through that door. The only way out is the way we just came. If you simply stay put and do what I tell you to do, then you will be comfortable. However, if you try to escape, I will move up my schedule and that will not go well for you.”
* Scott’s stomach dropped. “Why?” he asked hoarsely, still none the wiser.
* The man sighed, and sadness filled his eyes. “Sometimes, it’s the children that must pay for the sins of the father. That’s simply the way life goes.”

~ * ~ ABOUT THE BOOK ~ * ~
This story is the fourth and last book in The Agency series that deals with the conspiracy theory.
Like two of the other books in the series, Mason's Mijos deals with male pregnancy, and it also has a couple of surprises that I hope readers will enjoy. ;)

In addition, Mason's Mijos has a menage element, has some food play and sexy, sexy men! :)

Be Warned: MPREG, m/m sex, menage sex (MMM), food play, rimming, double penetration, voyeurism

... He’ll do anything for love.

~ * ~ BLURB ~ * ~
Mason Diaz is shocked when he sees his two ex-boyfriends, Flynn Grayson and Ryker Gemmings, together and at an alien encounters support group. Old feelings for them resurface when they tell Mason they want a threesome relationship. Eager to rekindle the connections, Mason goes up to Flynn’s house in the mountains for the weekend of a lifetime with the two men.
Abductions. Food play. Secrets and confessions about alien origins and shifting.

It’s not exactly what Mason had expected.

Especially the pregnancies.

Can he continue to love each of them while trying to survive the life changing events and all the revelations the weekend has in store?

~ * ~ EXCERPT ~ * ~
“Why did you want to come back?”
Flynn put down his drink and took Mason’s hands in his. “Haven’t I made that clear? I returned for you. I fought to come back because I love you.”

Mason kissed Flynn’s knuckles on one hand then the other. “And I love you. That’s what I decided. Who you are on the inside is what matters. Not where you come from or what you can do. I. Love. You. What can I do to help you with your mission? Find a woman for you to knock up? I’m sure my sister has some friends who’d be interested in you.”

“No.” Flynn shook his head. “I don’t want any females. I just want you.”

“But if you don’t do what you need to, you’ll be sent home. Right?” Mason couldn’t imagine being without Flynn, never hearing his laugh or seeing his smile. He had to be able to do something to keep the love of his life on Earth.

“I know, and the thought of leaving you again just kills me.” Flynn appeared to think for a moment. “You know, I could transform my genitals long enough for you to impregnate me.”

Mason chuckled. A man, changing his boyish bits into girly parts so he could carry a baby? Given to him by his male lover? That’s one for the tabloids. “I gotta hand it to you. It’s an interesting idea, Flynn, but a gestation period will be much longer than a few minutes.”

“I realize that. I have a medication to speed up the process, so it’ll only take a few days to a week or so. I believe I can keep the small transformation of my reproductive system going until I deliver.”

“I don’t know, Flynn. As much as I always wanted a child with you, I don’t want to put you in danger. And what if it doesn’t work?”

“Trust me. I’ll do my best to keep myself safe and make it happen. If I have your child, I’ll have done my duty and given you the best gift in the world. If for some reason it doesn’t work, then I’ll have to bite the bullet and find an Earth woman to procreate with.” He squeezed Mason’s hands. “Please, Mason, say we can do this. Let me have your baby.”

If anyone ever had said he’d be having such a conversation in his life, he would have called them daft. Yet here he was. Talking with his partner about having a baby. Together. Without the medical intervention of surrogacy. Just him, Flynn, and nature taking its bizarre, in this case, course.

a look at Jules Dixon & 'Chaps' @JulesofTripleR @evernightpub #gay #western

Chaps: Cherry County Cowboys #2

By Jules Dixon
Evernight Publishing
Release Date May 13, 2016

Rising rodeo star Nate O’Neill never expected to be living in a small Nebraska ranching town waiting for his rodeo brother to recover from a vicious ride. His unplanned stop steers him into the arms and bed of local celebrity, Tennessee Reed. Soon he questions what thrills him more—the rodeo or Tenn. Forced to face his reckless past, he’s reminded that relationships can cause damage far worse than any bull ride … and maybe he’s headed for the same suffering again.
Professional football draft-pick Tennessee Reed returns home emotionally shattered by the unexpected passing of his father who left Tenn with a hereditary secret buried in his chest. He might be dying inside, but when Nate walks into his life all Tenn’s troubles seem to disappear into those hazel eyes and he’s never felt more alive. Will Tenn follow the cowboy wherever life leads? Or will he protect his heart and watch those fringed leather chaps ride away?

I slid my eyes up from his boots. His chaps elongated his muscular legs and emphasized his compact waist. The leather vest, worn over a black checkered long sleeved shirt, defined his firm chest, and then I skimmed my eyes up to his face. Our eyes connected, I absorbed an intensity of attraction I’d never experienced. Disturbing and unyielding, and yet, satisfying. His eyes searched my face, his eyebrows bent in and his eyes landed on my lips, but he didn’t move. He hurt from both my behavior this morning and his overindulgence at the bar, but he still gave me his strength through his desire-pooled hazel eyes.
“I’m sorry about last night … this morning.” I choked out the words. “If you’re willing to give me a second chance, I’d like to have you over to my place. Tonight for dinner and a movie. No expectations. Just you and me getting to know each other better.” I rambled the short phrases while my heart banged against my chest. My brain tangled with all the words. The hangover affected me, but asking him on a date spun my head like one of those questionable carnival rides that came through town for the Cherry County Fair and Rodeo in August every year.
Tilt-o-Whirl or Octopus or whatever it is called, this is both worse and better.
He lifted our hands and showed me how his fingers had turned a ghostly white. I loosened my grip.
He stretched his pinking fingers. “You’re sure? I’ve never done the boyfriend thing. And I’m getting a pretty clear message that maybe you’re in the same wagon, but unless you’re givin’ this a real go—and not just to get in my Levis—I’m not in, Tenn.”
I dropped his hand and he tried to shuffle back. Sliding my fingers into the fringe of his chaps, I guided him in between my legs. My heart ticked slower, with more purpose. “You’re right. I don’t have a lot of experience with the bona fide relationship thing with a guy. A few have been repeats in my bed, but not one has made a repeat performance across from me at a meal and none have ever gotten inside my head or heart.” I dragged him closer. “But since last night, I can’t get you out of my head. I’m 100% in, Mustang. Let’s take whatever this is between us for a long ride.”
He dropped his lips to mine. The kiss that I’d been craving since I watched him drive away early this morning. I slipped my tongue into his mouth and dug my nails deep into the pockets of his Wranglers.
Moments like this existed for a reason, so we felt alive.

Knowing that, Zane planned to leave the place at once, but that was before he met the man who would become his boss, Joachim Wessling. This is a previously published work. It has been revised and edited for Evernight Publishing.

“Downey must be very lucky to have you.” The kid—because that was what he was to Joachim, a kid—stared at him a bit too long. “Watch the road.” Zane snickered, and switched his attention back to the traffic ahead. “Lucky. Yeah, I’d call it lucky they decided not to kick me out after denying me what should have been mine by right.” Joachim hadn’t expected to hear those words. “I'm sorry. I don't have any idea what you're talking about.” Zane sucked in a harsh breath.
“God, I'm sorry. That was totally uncalled for. Forget what I said, okay? And enjoy your stay here. People at Downey are the best, or I wouldn't have lasted this long.” Joachim frowned. Honestly, he didn’t know this would be the case. When they’d invited him to join the company, there was no talk that someone else might be qualified to be the head of the art department. In fact, he was under the impression that there hadn't been an art department before, only a small division under a larger unit. “You know, I can always talk to Mr. Downey and set things straight.” Joachim had never before seen an expression change from slight panic to utter horror. “No,” Zane practically shouted. “You can't tell him that. You have to promise you'll never talk to Mr. Downey about the things I said. I'll be happy to work under you. Work together with you. It was just a spur-of-the-moment outburst. Promise me, please?” Joachim tried to think past the words work under you, and Zane's pleas didn't help the matter. He took a deep breath and gazed ahead. “Okay, I promise not to say anything, though I’d prefer it if we're all open and honest and don't hide things from each other.” “I’ve been open and honest with you.” “Yeah, and I bet you regret it.”

a look at 'Parker’s Profile' by L.D. Blakeley @LDBlakeley @evernightpub #gay #humor

Thanks so much for having me on your blog today to talk about Parker’s Profile! I can't wait for everyone to meet Parker and Lane as I’ve become quite fond of them since the day they sprang to life.

The boys first appeared to me last December when a certain viral video was making the rounds. You know the one I’m talking about. The one where the impossibly beautiful Brock O’Hurn teaches the ridiculously adorable Zach Kornfeld how to be sexy? Yep, that video. And because it’s the way my brain works, my first thought was, “oh, what if it were two slightly different men in that situation?” And thus sprang forth my story idea.

And, while I did envision Zach and Brock initially, it didn’t take long before Parker and Lane were two fully-formed characters with their own ideas about how their story needed to be told. So I listened. And I hope you enjoy.

Parker Knowles needs a date. No, really. If he can't find one by Valentine's Day, he's agreed to let his sister fix him up. And quite frankly, he'd rather chew off his own arm than go out with someone of his sister's choosing.

Internet phenom, Lane Steadman, has offered to show Parker the art of the perfect selfie. After all, an outstanding dating profile is useless without a topnotch photo, right?

Can love really be found on the Internet? Or is a real-world connection closer to Parker than he thinks?

EXCERPT:

“What we need to do is get you wet.”

“Pardon?” Parker squawked.

“Yeah. Aside from that video Seth posted, my most popular pics are the ones at the beach or in a pool,” Lane explained.

There’s a shocker, Parker thought.

“I smelled chlorine in the lobby. I’m assuming there’s a pool in your building?” the other man continued.

“Yeah, there is, but…”

“Perfect.” Lane hopped up and slid his phone into his back pocket, giving Parker both the means and opportunity to ogle. And ogle, he did.

Until he realized Lane meant to take pictures of him in a bathing suit, and all ogling ground to a screeching halt. Oh, hell no

“I’m not sure if it’s such a good idea,” was what he actually said.

“What’s not a good idea?” With perfect timing, Seth strolled into the living room and handed them both a beer.

“Me posing in a pool.” Parker searched for a reason that wasn’t I don’t want to pop a boner near Lane that I can’t hide in a bathing suit.

“Maybe being in the pool will relax you,” Lane added. “Because I don’t think the beer is doing the trick.”

Parker knew the gorgeous man was trying to be helpful. Reluctantly, he nodded.

“Fine. Can I grab my trunks first?”

“Unless you’d prefer to be naked.” Lane winked and Parker felt his kneecaps liquefy.

He knew Lane hadn’t intended to come across as flirtatious. Unfortunately, his brain was having a tough time comprehending that. Pull yourself together, you drooling idiot. This guy is doing you a favor. The least you can do is behave like a sane, rational adult.

Too bad his id was projecting horny, teenage boy.

Pushing aside his inappropriate and misplaced lust, Parker headed into his bedroom and quickly changed his clothes, swapping out boxer briefs for swim trunks. He could do this.

As he headed back into the living room, he grabbed the security swipe card off the key rack by the door. “Okay, let’s get it over with.”

Lane and Seth followed behind Parker and kept up a constant chatter as the three of them rode the elevator to the lobby. Parker waved a quick hello to a neighbor as they exited and made their way toward the pool. When he heard voices coming from the direction of their final destination, however, he started to have second (and possibly third and fourth) thoughts.

“There’s people in there.” He faltered outside the glass doors that led to the pool. “Maybe this isn’t such a good—”

“Nope.” Seth grabbed the swipe card from Parker. “You’re not bailing on this.”

“M’not bailing. Just … can we do it when there’s nobody around?” He was prepared to start begging when the two older gentlemen who had been swimming laps, climbed out of the pool and started gathering up their belongings.

Seth had already unlocked the door and was holding it open for Parker and Lane to join him on the deck of the now-empty pool. “C’mon, stud. Let’s take some pictures.”

“Oh God.” Parker cringed at Seth’s choice of words. As they made their way around the perimeter of the pool, he looked to Lane, who had his phone out and looked keen to get started.

“Should I just…”

“Strip, baby.” Lane’s eyes crinkled in mirth as his mouth curved into a wicked grin.

“I hate you both,” Parker muttered as he fumbled with the buttons on his shirt.
