Looking at Cassandra James from 'Developing Cassandra' @TameriEtherton #humorous #erotica

Today we have Cassandra James visiting from the story Developing Cassandra. Welcome!

Cassandra James, what would you like to tell readers about yourself?
* I’m from a little town in Kansas I’m sure you’ve never heard of, but now I live in Los Angeles. I’ve been here three years and love it. Especially my job. I’m an assistant for one of the finest erotic photographers in the world. He really knows his stuff, which can be a problem sometimes…

Is expressing love difficult for you?
* Expressing love difficult? Naw, why would you ask that? Oh wait, have you been talking to my ex? What did he tell you? I’m not a cold bitch like he thinks, I just needed something else, something he couldn’t give me. I’m not even sure what I need, but I have an idea and it isn’t what anyone would expect from me.

If you could pull your author into your world, what do you think would happen to them?
* Seriously? She’d be asking questions and poking her nose into everyone’s lives. I’m pretty sure she’d convince Stephan and Luca to—oh crap, don’t ever let her in my world, okay? It would be best for everyone.

What was the best sexual experience you’ve had?
* Mmmm, my first Christmas with Luca. He gave me one hell of a present. Oh, and then there was that time in Didier’s playroom when he did this thing with his red riding crop. Yeah, that was nice. So very nice.

What was the least interesting thing that has ever happened to you? (In bed or out.)
* Tenth grade. All of it.

If you were to spend a day with a reader, what would you two do together?
* Well, first I’d take them to the beach to just chill. Then we’d go shopping because LA has some of the best boutiques in the world. Afterward, we’d head to Didier’s studio for a salon shoot. If he or she had any energy at the end of the day, we’d go to a club.

Where do you see yourself in the future? What do you hope to accomplish?
* Oh crap. I hate these questions. I want to be working for myself, traveling the world, and having radically hot sex with Luca. Not necessarily in that order.

Now for some author information!
* My author is Tameri Tiara. Tameri Tiara spends her days creating worlds where love is love no matter size, coloring, or sexual attraction. She believes love is something to be celebrated everyday. Currently, she makes her home in Southern California with her husband, three fish, two dogs, and a finicky cat. An adventurer at heart, Tameri has been known to fly to foreign lands at a moment’s notice, but has never been base jumping.
* (Note: At the time of this interview my author was in the process of changing her pen name from Niki Hart to Tameri Tiara, so if you see the name Niki, don't panic. She's actually Tameri Tiara. :) )

The camera never lies…
* When it comes to sex, Cassandra James is about as exciting as dryer lint. Until one night when her boss, a famed erotic photographer, invites her into the scene. Her world explodes with new desires, hidden fantasies, and an insatiable need to experience all she can. Including the wicked crops and crosses in her boss’s playroom.
* The only thing keeping Cassie from truly committing to this new lifestyle is the gorgeous model who lives across the hall. But a guy like him would never understand the wants of a woman like her…
* Luciano De Moreno is more than just an international model. Once the premiere stud in one of Hollywood’s top producer’s stable, he craves more from life than being someone’s pony. What he desires just happens to live across the hall. But there’s no way a good girl like Cassie could ever love a man like him. A man with a sordid past and a penchant for crops and floggers.
* Just when it looks like he might have a chance, their future is threatened by a power player from Luca’s distant past. It will take a daring choice, but Luca is determined to be free from his blackmailer.
* First, he must confess his sins to Cassandra.
~ Excerpt ~
* She tried not to notice his muscled abs or well-defined arms. Or his bare chest and long legs. Silky basketball shorts hung dangerously from his hips. Just one tug would have them off in a moment. Flustered at the thought, she stared at his bare feet, which weren’t in the least bit sexy.
* At the second floor landing, he held out his hand to her. “I’m Luciano. My friends call me Luca.”
* She took his hand in hers, delighting in the warmth and strength of it. “I’m Cassandra. My friends call me Cassie.”
* “Cassandra. Very beautiful name.” His hand held hers and he leaned in to whisper, “And woman.”
* A player. Just her luck the hot new neighbor would be a player. She moved in front of him, releasing his grip on her hand. It felt cold and empty. “Thanks.”
* “You don’t sound sincere in your gratitude.” His perfect lips edged toward the ground in a little boy pout.
* She mocked surprise. “I don’t? Oh gee whiz, I’m sorry.” She flashed him a knowing grin. “Look, I’ve lived in this city long enough to know I’m not one of the beautiful people. Usually when guys hit on me, they just want one thing. After they get it, they’re on to the next ‘beautiful woman’ they see. Why don’t I save us both the time and trouble and let you know, I’m not interested.”
* Where the hell did that come from? Of course she was interested. Wasn’t this the same guy who was starring in her fantasies every night?

Looking at character Taryn Rose Galendrin from 'The Temple of Ardyn' @TameriEtherton #Epic #Fantasy

Today we have Taryn Rose Galendrin visiting from all the books in the series The Song of the Swords. Welcome!

Taryn Rose Galendrin, what would you like to tell readers about yourself?
* Well, that’s kind of difficult to answer. I thought I was from Earth, but recently discovered I was born on another planet, one far from Earth and vastly different in almost every way. It’s beautiful and dangerous and shimmering with an ancient power.

Are you happy with the way people perceive you?
* Yes and no. People on Aelinae fear me because they’ve been told I’ll destroy their world, but what they don’t understand is I’m trying to protect them. I’ll admit, I don’t make a habit of announcing my intentions. A little fear goes a long way when sussing out your enemies.

Is humor important? Why or why not?
* If I couldn’t laugh at myself, or some of the ridiculous situations I find myself, I’d probably lose my mind. Have you met my family? They seriously need counseling.

If you were taken out of the story and placed into your author’s world, what would be the first thing you’d do?
* I’d get a cheeseburger, fries, and a chocolate shake. Or maybe some proper fish and chips. Oh! Pizza. Yes, I’d have a pizza with the works.

If you could pull your author into your world, what do you think would happen to them?
* Tameri on Aelinae? Ha! I’d spend all my time keeping her out of mischief. She’d be enthralled with every little thing. And we’d definitely have to keep an eye on the crown jewels. That woman has a thing for tiaras. One look at my star crown and she’d be a goner.

If you could time travel and/or live anywhere in the world, where would you go and/or where would that be?
* A year ago I would’ve said I’d time travel back to the day before my grandfather died, but now? Now I don’t want to be anywhere or in any other time than where I am. My life is difficult, but has purpose. Plus, there’s Rhoane to consider. That man wouldn’t know what to do with himself if I weren’t here. I tend to make his life interesting. Not always in a good way, but that’s what keeps it fun, you know?

Now for some author information!
* My author is Tameri Etherton. Rocker of sparkly tiaras, friend of dragons, and lover of all things sexy, Tameri Etherton leaves a trail of glitter in her wake as she creates and conquers new worlds and the villains who inhabit them. When not masquerading as a mom and writer, rumor has it she travels to far off places, drinking tea and finding inspiration for her kickass heroines—and the rogues who steal their hearts—with her own Prince Charming by her side.

It’s hard to save a world when your family is out to kill you…
* Taryn banished the phantom, but someone, or something, is invading her thoughts. To escape the torture and bring balance to Aelinae, Taryn must do the one thing she fears most—unlock her Dark powers.
* Rhoane swore an oath to protect Taryn, forsaking all others to keep her from harm, yet her independent spirit and lack of trust almost cost her life. Now, he’ll do what it takes to save the woman he loves from the Blackness growing inside her.
* But there’s evil in this world, and it’s just as desperate for them to fail.
(Author note: The Temple of Ardyn is the second book in the Song of the Swords epic fantasy series about honor, family, and love—of what it takes to become someone you never thought you’d be and to find the strength to face your inner demons.)
~ Excerpt ~
* “You have not been dismissed.” Lliandra stood to block Taryn’s path and the two women glared at each other in a stalemate. Lliandra’s power swirled with a constrained vengeance, slipping around Taryn’s body.
* She waited until her mother’s Mari wrapped her fully and a look of triumph clouded her mother’s eyes. The blue threads tightened about her, clammy and smelling of rot. Taryn blew gently on the strands and they crumpled into blackened snarls and fell to the floor.
* Lliandra gasped in horror at the sight of her power, visible and defeated at her feet. “How?” She choked. “How is this possible?”
* “You told me yourself, I am the Eirielle. Within me is the trinity of power, but that’s not all I possess. The phantom touched my soul with his Black ShantiMari. Perhaps if you were young and robust, your skills would be enough to overpower me, but your fade weakens you, Mother.”
* She scooped up the pile of ash and blew it into the air, where it became glittering motes of dust. “You really should control your anger. It isn’t becoming for an empress to be so disrespectful of her gifts.” With that, she pivoted on her heel and strode across the sitting room. When she reached the wall of crystal, she stopped.
* Lliandra stood in the doorway of the dining room, eyes wide with disbelief.
* “Never again use your ShantiMari against me. Are we agreed?” Lliandra gave the slightest of nods and Taryn swept from the rooms, her legs trembling beneath her full skirt.
* Her mother also had highly underestimated her.
