#2 of Six Sentences over six weeks from 'Wild West Weekend'
A
faint memory of the first time she and Dakota were allowed to go to a movie by
themselves swept through her mind. That afternoon she had felt lighthearted and
excited about their date. The anticipation of being alone with a boy she
liked, wondering if he’d hold her hand or give her a kiss, had been
overwhelming. She felt the same way now. The pleasant sensations were a welcome
delight. With a smile plastered on her face, she yanked open the door.

I love the anticipation and comparison, well done!
Seems so sweet and innocent, but I have a feeling what's on the other side of the door is quite the opposite. Great six!
You can feel her anticipation. Well done :)
Love the memory we can all relate to. Puts me right in the scene!
Hey C.R.! Love the six! It's great reading you, my friend! Hope you have a fantastic Sunday!
such a gentleness about this six. I'm pulled in and want to know more. Nicely done.
I love the excitement and anticipation in this scene!
Oh my sensations. I really like this.
Ah the memories of youth...sitting in a darkened theater and wondering if the boy next to me was going to try to steal a kiss. Great six this week! Brought back found memories.
I only hope those feelings will prevail. Thanks for sharing!
I like the mixture of the past with the present. Nicely done six, CR. :)
Enjoyed this, a happy scene, although who knows what's coming next, so you want to keep reading! Great excerpt.
Great sample. Made me remember when I felt that way. Can't wait for more.
Love that last sentence. Nice six! :)
Lovely six!
Loved the way this started, so sweet and hopeful...but very curious as to what will happen when she opens that door. Terrific six!
