This month we're celebrating the men and women (and animals too!) that rock a uniform--whichever uniform that may be. Military, Police, Firefighter and all others who serve and protect. So...Who's Your Hero? Stop by each blog for a giveaway and to find out who OUR favorite fictional and real life heroes are...
* My heroes are the men and women who work to serve our country through all the branches of the military. My hubby, who served in the National Guard part time and the Army full time, is one of my real life heroes, as are my sister and best friend, two wonderful women who served in the National Guard and Army respectively as well.
* When it comes to military fictional heroes, two authors come to mind: Kaylea Cross and Beth D. Carter. Kaylea writes awesome militarty centered romances that have a lot of action and heat. As for Beth, though she doesn't write military specific stories, she does have a Motorcycle Club series and in those stories to be a member of the club you have to have served in one of the military branches. The first two books in the Forgotten Rebels MC series are Unbroken and Wicked Man, and I'm really looking forward to the next two stories she's working on in the series because they sound wonderful! If you haven't read either of these authors yet, you must!
* And to get you started on your Carter or Cross reading journey, I'm giving away a $5 Amazon GC to one lucky winner! Leave a comment below telling me who your favorite hero is (and be sure to leave your email so I know how to contact you should you win) to be entered for the GC.
* Also, be sure to visit the other hoppers and comment to be entered for their goodies. :) Thanks for stopping by today!

sharing our favorite #romantic reads #TimeTravel #SpringFlingHop
Spring has sprung and love is in the air! We’re sharing our favorite romantic reads! There’s a giveaway at every blog so visit them all and see what reads have us all in a swoon this month.
Welcome to my corner!
Once upon a time, twenty odd years ago, my best friend lent me a book by Jude Deveraux called A Knight in Shining Armor. I think that's when I really fell in love with time travel stories. But I'm not here to talk about that book for this hop. I'm going to share two books, one that I read about twenty years ago (where has the time gone!) and one that I read at the beginning of this year. Both time travels that had me swooning!
First, the book I read in January. It's been a while since I've been moved by a story and this one did the trick. I'm just going to share the blurb, because I don't know if I'd be able to do the description justice...A look into Transcendence by Shay Savage
~ Blurb ~
* It’s said that women and men are from two different planets when it comes to communication, but how can they overcome the obstacles of prehistoric times when one of them simply doesn’t have the ability to comprehend language?
* Ehd’s a caveman living on his own in a harsh wilderness. He’s strong and intelligent, but completely alone. When he finds a beautiful young woman in his pit trap, it’s obvious to him that she is meant to be his mate. He doesn’t know where she came from, she’s wearing some pretty odd clothing, and she makes a lot of noises with her mouth that give him a headache. Still, he’s determined to fulfill his purpose in life – provide for her, protect her, and put a baby in her.
* Elizabeth doesn’t know where she is or exactly how she got there. She’s confused and distressed by her predicament, and there’s a caveman hauling her back to his cavehome. She’s not at all interested in Ehd’s primitive advances, and she just can’t seem to get him to listen. No matter what she tries, getting her point across to this primitive but beautiful man is a constant – and often hilarious – struggle.
* With only each other for company, they must rely on one another to fight the dangers of the wild and prepare for the winter months. As they struggle to coexist, theirs becomes a love story that transcends language and time.
Next is the book I read all those years ago. Talk about being transported to another world! I adore it because it was by my favorite author at the time - Jude Deveraux; it's a time travel; and the heroine is an author. A look into my favorite romantic read of all time: Remembrance by Jude Deveraux...~ Blurb ~
* Jude Deveraux plunges a modern-day woman into the mysteries of the past – where an enchanting love awaits.
* Bestselling romance writer Hayden Lane has found her soul mate – or rather, created him: he’s her latest fictional hero. And she’s totally obsessed with him. Barely noticing when her real-life fiancĂ© breaks their engagement, she visits a psychic to learn more about him – and is told that in a past life Hayden was Lady de Grey, a promiscuous woman of Edwardian England. Hayden can’t resist submitting to a hypnotist’s magic. But the trick goes wrong, and instead of merely remembering her past as Lady de Grey, Hayden is living it. Now she will discover quite a different story about a woman history considered a trollop, a spectacular, brooding man, and the rapturous love that would be hers if she dared open her heart to the most mysterious adventure of all.
Just so you know, I pulled the information about the two books off of Amazon. ;) For my part in the hop, I'm giving away to one lucky reader, an eBook copy of one of my Raritan Manor Ranch stories, winner's choice. There are three time travel books in the series and information on them can be found on my Website. To enter for my prize and for the prize that can be found at the host site, please comment below about your favorite read and use the Rafflecopter options.
Find the other hoppers at the links below for chances at more prizes! Hop is from April 15 to April 21, 2016. No purchase necessary. Void where prohibited.

I "heart" them! #ShareTheLove #giveawayhop @bethdcarter @jaceyholbrand @SweetLifeConfLV
It’s time for the annual Share the Love giveaway hop! This hop is a little different and all about sharing our favorite bloggers and authors with you! There’s a giveaway at every participating blog (listed below) so visit them all and find out who we all just adore!
The following list is about the blogs and authors I'm featuring and why I love them. For this hop, I'm touting some great authors I know and an upcoming conference. Be sure to click on the links provided to be taken to the blogs. :)
I'll be giving away a choice of one eBook from one of the authors I've shared below to one winner via Rafflecopter. Just follow the prompts in the Rafflecopter at the end of this post to enter!
Beth D. Carter -- A wonderful author and a woman I'm happy to call my friend, Beth writes some wonderful MF and menage stories that will make you laugh, cry, want to fall in love and have happily ever afters. She has some awesome Motorcycle Club stories, too, that have received great reviews that I suggest you check out.
Elizabeth Monvey & Jacey Holbrand -- If you like LGBT stories and your tastes run toward the "G" aspect, these lovely authors have awesome MM stories. Elizabeth and Jacey have also written stories revolving around male pregnancies. Interesting, right? That's something to definitely check out IMO.
The Sweet Life Author Conference -- This is an upcoming conference where authors can spend some time being creative and have the chance to brainstorm in fun events with others. Readers -- whether they be aspiring writers, reviewers, or just a lover of books -- are welcome to attend, too! They can meet authors, see what's involved in the sweet life of writing, and maybe even get your name in a book! Visit the event coordinators here: Austyn Sherrie & Johanna Riley. Their books are also a part of my giveaway. :)

Come visit the #ChristmasTreats hoppers
* Happy holiday, y’all! Thanks for stopping by my corner of the festivities.
* This holiday season I’m gearing up for family visits, going to a few parties and hosting one with my hubby at our place. Can’t say I’ll be getting that much reading in. As it is, I’m hoping I’ll be able to write some over the next few weeks. Busy, busy, busy!
* Usually each year on my wish list to Santa I put down that I’d like book store gift certificates. I tend to keep hold of them so throughout the year when I find a book I’d like to read I’m able to buy it. Though I’m not averse to having friends and family just give me books as presents. ;) Speaking of which, for my blog hop giveaway, I’m offering one lucky winner a signed PDF copy of any one of my books. If interested, enter via the rafflecopter at the end of this post. Feel free to share what you’re asking Santa for Christmas this year, too!
* What are our favorite Christmas Treats? Books, of course! Stop by each blog for a chance to win fabulous books & gifties for the Holidays!
